Since contests are one of my favorite things about Neocodex, I was curious if I were able to make a contest that y'all would be interested in. It's something I've seen before somewhere, I don't remember any kind of name for it, but I know how it goes. If you'd like, spout some names that would go with it and I guess we can roll with it.
The idea of it is to have the contest host (winner of the previous round/whatever) draw up a scribble. Something like this.
And during the contest, people are supposed to draw something out of the scribble like this
I want to point out, it's not supposed to be a scribble where nobody can do anything with it like this.
Okay, to put it into the summary. The host draws up a decent scribble. It doesn't have to be in any sort of program. It can be in Paint, SAI, Photoshop, anything. As long as people can draw on it. That's why I would recommend drawing the scribble in Paint, so that everybody is able to doodle on it. After the host posts the scribble, they're given the amount of time to collect entries. Entries from people are drawings made out of the scribble. Like the examples above. I'm sorry for my lack of easy explanation on this, it's kind of hard to explain.
- You can color it
- You can NOT remove anything from it
- You can make the picture bigger if need be
Your thoughts? I just thought of it the other day and wanted to know if you guys would be interested in it. It was fun when I did it with a few people.
About the award, you can only make them if you are private+, I think
