add you nav_decoration image to the background of the div containing the forum, it's height is pushing it down currently. you may also be able to float nav_decoration, but i can't test it right now so can't tell you if it would work

i'm not on xp right now, but i think you goto properties -> last tab -> advanced -> second tab i think (it might be called monitor?) and there should be a dropdown of different refresh rates

it may be a temperature issue, do you have any monitoring software for your card?

try running rthdribl, which stresses your gfx card and see what happens:

i would suggest going to http://forum.noteboo...isplay.php?f=16 and filling out the questionnaire, they should be able to help you get the best laptop for your budget.

Edit- to bring the price down i would recommend buying the lest amount of memory possible and buying the amount you want online
