When you send a score data is sent with the request. In this data is the following;
- Your score
- The time in milliseconds it took you to get your score
- Flash players frame rate
- Username
That is all thrown into a medium strength encryption. So that you in theory can't send 'fake' scores. All they do when looking at your score is look at those parameters above with the anti-cheat variables (lowest and highers times, scores and frame rates). They may also make note of their connection logs, to make sure your not sending 'fake' scores. Although somebody trying to fake scores could easily emulate this process.
