File Name: Neocodex Python Runtime Files (Windows XP/Vista/7)
File Submitter: ShadowLink64
File Submitted: 01 Jun 2009
File Category: Required Files

Neocodex Python Runtime Files
Build 9

This package will allow you to run all of the Windows programs on Neocodex (the ones that end in .zip.. if you want the Mac version, go here: http://www.neocodex....files-mac-os-x/) . This package is required, or else our programs will not run correctly.

######### IMPORTANT: ##########

When you reach the Mumei's Codex Chex dialog, log in with your Neocodex username and password, NOT YOUR NEOPETS ACCOUNT!!

People constantly get this mixed up.
We want to know if you are a Neocodex member before you get to use our programs. You can log in with your Neopets user/pass once you're actually in the program.
############################

The package includes:

  • Python Required DLL and PYD files
  • wxPython GUI Required DLL and PYD files
  • CodexChex Libraries (Python) 1.0.3, HTTPwrapper 1.0.5
Version History:
Build 9: Updated version of wx
Build 8: Added "BadStatusLine" handling to HTTPWrapper
Build 7: Added security, removed anonymous login on CodexChex
Build 6: JRE removed, PyCodexChex added. Fixed HTTPwrapper.
Build 5: Added Python Imaging Library, Fixed ambiguity of first login (it is a NEOCODEX login), HTTPwrapper 1.0.3
Build 4: Upgraded HTTPWrapper, CodexChex, JRE version to 1.6.0_14
Build 3: Added Common PYD Libraries
Build 2: Removed GTK; added wxPython
Build 1: Included GTK, Java 1.6 and Python DLLs

zip is corrupt?

Tested in Windows Explorer, WinRAR, and 7zip. No problems.

Try redownloading, this isn't the first time it was reported.

This program is used by Python's os.popen function to work around a limitation in Windows 95/98. It is not designed to be used as a stand-alone program.

This pop-up when I ran the program.
(My windows is 7 )

Yes, I input Thade and my pw and it doesnt work. Ive tried many times and nothing so it cant be a simple error like misspelling.

Use the Program Manager, you don't need to download the Runtime Files separately.

My spelling is usually great (Google chrome auto correct)

I fail whenever it comes to grammar. Specifically Your and You're, even though its on purpose, its still failing.
