Hey guys! I'm a returning user. I was pretty active a while back but the stupid keyloggingcookiegrabber monster pretty much drained my will to play.

Anyhow, I just finished my fall semester of college so I thought maybe chill and see how neopets is going for now. Is the cookie grabber issue still a big deal?
Thanks for your time, I hope you all have a great holiday.

So I guess the issue doesn't happen anymore.

The problem was that some people put cookie grabbers on their profile (I'm not sure on the exact detail - but in essence, it would take your cookies so if you log onto neopets with your login/password saved then it would copy that. Then whoever has that information could just go into your account and just take everything - and with neopets' "superb" security - you couldn't even find out who took it since there is no actual trade log/etc.

I thought it was a joke until it happened to me. <_<

Cookie grabbing has nothing to do with clicking Save Password on your browser.

With a cookie grabber you can get the other persons cookie
Meaning he gets your cookie on his comp
So all the website you go to he doesnt need pass of your account
When he open neopets page your account will be logged in allready

Whoops :X
Didn't mean to feed people bad information.

Is it still out there though?
It seems like a lot less people have heard about - is it safe to assume that neopets has fixed this?
