Vitamin D is one of the only vitamins the human body actually makes itself, using sunlight.xD i don't think its a placebo effect, but if you do know something i don't, then quickly tell me because i might order another bottle because its cheap!

im only supplementing it in the wintertime. bc weather is dark, hardly any sun. my skin pigmentation is also very fair and some woiuld call it pale, which hinders the absorbtion.

I can't believe you made me look around at my biology book at the break, but whatever. The sunlight activates vitamin D, I think it might be possible to take it without the sunlight, which would be the supplements you take, but you don't need to take supplements, all you need is to eat eggs, cheese or to drink milk, and take around 15 minutes of sunlight. You'll be fine with that, and it's safer.
