This is an error I have been getting rather frequently. Not sure what exactly does it mean though but I can't access the net and it's irritating. The weird thing is, msn and skype works sometimes. Is this a problem on my end or should I speak to my service provider?

If it seems that you can't change your DNS, then you may potentially have a security breach on your computer. Download a program called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, run the setup, update when it asks, then run a quick scan. If you find that you have any infections, select them and remove. Even if you are able to change your DNS it is a good bet to scan your computer for infections.
