Back from a long school break, and have decided to learn python! I have read the guides in this section and it helped me a lot, I was wondering if there were Python sources to a basic neopets program? I learn best by looking at code and finding how something works... Thanks so much!

A neopets program is somewhat complicated, especially if you're new to programming. If you're looking to learn python, you can start here: http://en.wikibooks....hon_Programming

Unfortunately, our programs are closed source, but you can take a lot from what you learn at that site and possibly construct your own programs. We can guide you to which tools you might want to use along the way :)

I have been learning basic syntax and GUI, I've been messing around in the Python GUI and can write decent code, I just need to know some basic program ,like an avatar grabber so I can look on how it is made, and then following how it is made I make other programs, this is how I've learned a few languages in regards to programming for Neopets. Is there no basic source code that has been posted around here? Thanks Hydrogen.

We only share our source code between members of the programming team. You might find some old source in our code snippets archive though:
