Ya, Facebook has more space for people to say things.I have my Facebook just so I don't have to have Twitter. I can get more said on FB anyway.

I never really saw the point to it. Most Facebook status updates are less than 150 characters anyway.
But hey, celebrities use it. So maybe it's some kind of exciting to let people know when you're almost-about-to-have-sex and going-to-get-a-smoothie-from-the-shop.

The only Twitter accounts I ever read belong to Stephen Colbert and Lady Gaga. Everyone else can suck it.

I usually only use Twitter when there's contests 
or to stalk celebrities

It was a joke, because you seem to have a ton of threads about sites other than this one, thus you must be making some sort of profit about talking about it and also (hopefully) leading other people to those sites out of curiosity and the like.What ad revenue?

It's actually because I frequent hypem.com alot. If you're too lazy to go there, it's a website that aggregates songs from all sorts of blogs. If you're into indie music, it's a great place to find your music.
Anyways, the only way to add friends on hypem is to link twitters accounts together. Which is pretty dumb...

I use it to follow certain people but I don't tweet or follow my friends. I don't want to see a blinking light on my phone every 5 minutes just to find out my friend tweeted "I'm in a shoe store" or some bullshit hahah.

I use last.fm and /mu/ for new music... But its usually already mainstream-ish by the time it gets that far.
