I still haven't gotten anything yet.
Of course, I'm going after the Magic shop, so it's partially expected.

I'd advise against doing Magic not just because it's super risky, but because without advanced, you really have no chance unless you're extremely lucky.

700k from 70 items? Those are some cheap items.

Hey guys, im also noob to AB so I wanted to know if its REaLLy necessary to use proxies, cause i have a kinda slow connection, and with the proxy its even slower... without the proxy i manage to buy about half the stuff the AB huggles, with the proxy its about 1/8, just for books or food...

thanks

EDIT: its been 40min since the AB is running and it didnt even bothered tryin (w/ proxy)

it's not necessary, but without using proxies you risk all the other accs you use on your ip.

You should create a manual list for a specific shop. It has worked well for me - easy and quick profit.

Neofriends has a Magic list. I'd post it here but I'm not sure if they'd like that. :U

By the way, with proxies your best bet (as far as I know) is to get a subscription to a proxy service because they tend to be a lot faster.

Proxies are EXTREMELY necessary if you want to keep all of your accounts because the first time you AB could be the last time you AB on that account. But...
Seems like you're in quite a predicament, but this is what i do (also have your problem)
Since I am still fairly new to neopets i just made another main (proxied) and I ab on my original IP address.
My proxy hasnt died for maybe 2 months now and its still going strong so maybe you would want to give that a try.
This only works if you dont have a main that you're really attached to.
Other than that my best advice would be to pay for a better proxy because what it sounds like to me is you're using a free public proxy that probably 100,000 other people are using at the same time.

Unfortunately I don't because I don't use proxies at all. I think Abradix has a subscription to a proxy service so try asking him.

... ?

It depends on the proxy itself and the settings you use on the proxy. Not all proxies run at the same speeds. if you have a slow proxy, then lower your buy times (at your own risk)

Wow... 90%? I am using 97% and not getting that far with it. What does everyone else use on their autopricer? I mean, depending on the item, 10% off could be A LOT of NP missed.

I just started using abrosia, just wondering how long it usually takes for things to sell.

I've only gotten things like foods and books so far, I'm worried no one will want to buy them, haha.

Food and books sell well if you have undercut price at a decent but not self-destructive percentage.

Usually i set my autopricer to about 500nps below the lowest price; works.
Sure you could say I lose a lot of profit, but atleast im making profit :/
Some people think they can sell their items for high during these times, but that shit only flys during the summer when everybody is out of school.

Pssh my autopricer is set at 0.7. The most I can lose is ~30k, which is nothing to me. All it leads is to more people checking my shop and literally buying out my entire stock

I didnt know that if you put the autopricer in small decimals it would deflate the price of that item by that much; feel stupid.
This whole time i was doing it all wrong!
You unintentionally helped my ass out a whole lot (:

haha yeah percentage is usually better :p Because -1000np from 5k is a lot greater deficit than -1000from 99k. and generally we get more 5k items than 99k items

Profit comes really fast, like on the same day that you put up the items. :D

Well before I came to this thread I had about 20 items that were collecting cobwebs in my Shop, and now I'm down to 3.
To anyone who is having a hard time selling their items, I highly recommend setting your auto pricer to 0.7-0.8 (:

My stuff sells instantly. Then again, Im experienced, know exactly what to target and how to price.

If you are talking about UB's, then those take quite a while to sell. It all depends on if its ETS/HTS and how low your willing to price it.

And by instantly, I mean within an hour for the majority of items.
