what are your views on it?
Why do people find it so hard to quit neopets?

well, neopets is a timeeating shit game without sense, so just delete your acc, cry a day or two and never start again. (hope that's what you wanted to hear, you're welcome!)

I mean, It's not like we actually go on for more than a few minutes a day, right? I spend more time on Codex then on Neopets... Which says a lot considering I rarely spend any time on Codex at all. There are so few things to do it just doesn't hurt to keep playing a little...

it's hard to part with something you have been doing for ages

yes but most people find it hard because of the social network right? and due to that they run off collecting avatars RSing etc so why not just get your friends who youd like to add you on MSN Facebook or what not and then you can quit neo even freeze your account and then just talk to them on there?
Not really. A lot of people avoid the boards and guilds and what not. I think what draws people in is that there's such a variety of things to do so you never really get bored of it. You could be collecting plushies one month and training your pet the other

Maybe if I didn't use Abrosia, Neo would actually take up more of my time. But legit RSing is for lesser beings, who do not see the beauty in not having to manually refresh ten million times a day.
And, once again: if you have the knack of it, Neoboards trolls are so much fun to toy with.
