But the fact of the matter is, i just need help getting started, a layout of what i have to do at least.
The rest i can work with, but im having trouble understanding what needs to be done with this one.

not trying to be lazy, and i could provide a justifiable argument as to why i havent had time(kidney stone surgery) to finish this earlier.

Teachers get paid to help you, if you're unsure what you need to do just ask them, that's what they're there for.

Id normally agree with you about that, but on this assignment we are not to ask our professor(which is an intern) about anything.
And if i had time and wasnt hospitalized I would have time to even ask about that, as it is due on Monday, and no classes or office hours are held on Friday, im rather out of luck.

Dont get me wrong, i want to do this on my own, not asking for any answers to be handed to me on a silver platter, but a slight push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
I just posted a simple request, to see if anyone would like to help. I completely understand if not though.

I apologize for having this turn into a discussion though

You'll need some system i/o for inserting people into the list. Some type of sorting algorithm to match their evac criteria and a few things, that's all
P.S. I don't see why you can't ask your professor/intern/some other professor, they get paid for a reason.

Being in a rush was my only reason for posting.
Tackling the problem with a cool head from the start, would have been the better option, which I'm sure to do next time.
Thank you for your input everyone, much obliged.
