A couple multiple choice that I found funny when I was doing the online practice tests for my drivers permit. I feel like they make the right answer too obvious some times!

lol i remember doing mine, it's similar to yours, how there are some really obvious ones.
like ' what is the first thing you do when you get in a car'
A. start the engine
B. Check the mirror
C. Put on your seatbelt =p

I passed my Ls, Hazard Perceptions test, and driving test all in my first go.
Some of my friends repeated it up to 10 times =p

Haha, I know I passed my first try as well, I didn't even have to read the book, I just did the online test a few times. It surprised me that some of my friends had to re-do it!

How long do you need to stay on Ps before become a full fledged driver?
Our Ps are divided into 2 colors: Red for the first year, then Green for the next 2.

I'm on my second year of greens now, not that I put em up anyway =D

it depends, if you take driving lessons then after 8 months you can take the test to get your license, and if you don't take lessons, then you have to wait a year.
Im not sure if thats what you were asking though :p by Ps do you mean driving with a parent or someone who has had their license for 2 years?

I did several when I got my G1. Basically if you're in doubt, the rule of thumb is the longer/more detailed answer is the right answer. :p

I didn't know you were from Australia... and a Victorian too.
I'm on my reds until this October, though you can barely see the plates due to the tinting on my car :p

L = Learners
P = Probationary
You only have to have a full licensed driver in the passenger seat when you're on your Ls.
Ps you can drive by yourself but they carry some restrictions (ie 0.0 blood alcohol, max of 1 passenger not including family and full licensed people, stuff like that)

2 years sounds like a long time to have a permit xD I got my license in Ohio, There you have to have a permit for 6 months and take driving classes if you are under 18. If you are over 18, I think you only have to have your permit for like 24 hours and then you can take the driving test. The whole two different colored ones seems a bit confusing.

the online test is actually pretty similar to the real thing, the questions are pretty obvious and its not a difficult thing to pass at all. thats how it was in bc anyway.

My learners test was too easy. I took the practice test online, and then went to the DMV to take the real test on a computer. I took the 2 parts, each consisting of 15 questions, and passed my test in 9 minutes. I only missed 3 or 4. The one about what to do when you see a school bus always trips me up. I don't know if I'm supposed to stop when there is a 5 foot median with or without grass. Failed that question on the practice and real test. I don't go near school buses at all now.:lookaround:

online test?... do you still have to drive as a part of the test? O_o seems silly if they just give you a permit without seeing you drive first... lol

No you don't have to drive, this is just for your beginners so you can drive with someone with 5 years of experience to teach you and take your road test like in a years time.

Yeah my parents thought it was dumb, too. Almost everything here in America is bass ackward. That could have been offensive. Nevermind.
