The new Neopets sucks. That is all.

Speaking as a very old school battledome player...I like the old one better. Hypno Helmets (when they were still called that) cost about 10k and slime potion was the highest hp healer in the game. Everything was much cheaper so you could have fun without having to invest years to get your good set.

Although i would have to say about 80% of the people posting about old times now adays probably have joined the site within the last two years and are claiming to have been here a while, i for one miss the old days because of the people i used to chat with. And the battledome was fun. And the scamming side of neo was virtually non existant. As well as trolls. And n1n and marisatomei did not exist yet. And adam and donna actually cared about the site. And there were plots. And the best players were legit. Any questions?

Never assume something about how long people were on neopets or not ;)

And I prefer old times too :)

The thing I miss most is the era of neopets when having 100k made you rich...

And although the ability to put clothes on is nice, not only is it a huge ploy for money, but I would so much rather have the unique circle background pets than the new generic pets.

the best thing about 100k being rich is that it made it much better and easier to be a legit player =.= playing games and such to achieve 100k neopoints wasnt too hard to achieve oh those were the days, grinding all day ton the games to get a fewhundred k

I'm sorry, but what? While it may be my mistake to not go through all the topics being created, I don't think your topic and mine are the same.

Since you've said that I'm a topic copy cater, I took the time to look back at the topic you created, and this was the title.

"If you could choose to add back one OLD feature from neopets what would it be?

I'm sorry, but I fail to see how your topic and my topic are identical. Yours is stating which old feature would you like from neopets back, while mine is asking what do you think of the evolution of neopets, and whether or not you preferred the current neopets or the old.

Do you need the definition of "identical"?

i·den·ti·cal/īˈdentikəl/Adjective
1. Similar in every detail; exactly alike:

And I even asked if people of the past who stayed to watch Neopets evolve, enjoy it's evolution.

Dun dun dun dun. Go troll someone else's topic

And yeah, I do agree, having 100k in the past felt really good. I really enjoyed the feeling of getting 10k or 5k when I get Race to Riches Scratch Card. I tried to live that moment again by buying 10 of those, but now they actually restricted me to 5 a day! Not something I encountered i the past. :( And for the record, I scratched nothing out of the 10. Boo.

I also enjoyed the older artwork and navigation bar.

THIS. I still haven't converted my darigan zafara because they softened all of the lines that made it look fierce. I live in constant fear that I'll get a random even that'll ruin it. Boochi hit one of my other pets last week and I just about had a heart attack.

Honestly, I barely remember the olden times of Neopets, lol :)

I joined 10 years ago but my first account was frozen (can't remember why). My current account is over 7 years old but I do remember joining Neopets after seeing a friend play it and was intrigued. I also remember playing games like Dice-A-Roo and would get excited whenever I won any items. I still play Dice-A-Roo but the items are always the same.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. The olden days. Just for restocking purposes.

I definitely miss the old neopets.
Although there is more to do now, the simplicity of the old neopets made the game more fun and less competitive.

Having been back on neopets for about 2 weeks now, I think there are too many things in the game right now. As in, there are a whole new lot of foods, furniture, toys, dress-codes, etc, that no one bothers to really look them up. Does anyone else share the same sentiment as me?

About 5 or 6 years ago there used to be much more people playing neo and talking on spanish boards. Now most of the boards are dead.

Old times ftw!!

I do kind of miss the old days when I think about it.. but it in a way, I don't. I didn't play very much.. I only played games here and there and restocked a bit.. I never really got involved to much in the community because most of the people I met were huge pricks. =/ But nowadays there seems to be more older kids because they've grown up with the game and still stick with it. There seems to be at least somewhat of an increase in maturity. Also, there are way more things to do.. not just games and BD. NC Mallin' and ABin' is pretty much all I do now but I love it. (:

Well back then I was still a kid that just played some lame ass games and did manual restocking for a few hours on dial up... Yeah the stuff you had back then would be worth more now but doesnt necessarily equate to more fun. But yeah I do agree I had more fun back then, but maybe its just because I was younger and didn't really play games yet.
