OMG I SOOO WANT A DOG... eh... just wondering, how much does it cost to own a dog? Maybe... my parents might be letting me...
well a dog may cost anywhere between 300-1000 dollar, if you buy at the store, less if you adopt. As far as how much it costs, well you basically have to buy giant bags of dog food, but the issue is whether or not you would be willing to clean up the poop every single day..

Even when they grow up, they can still be awesome. Well, some breeds anyways.if only dogs stayed like that forever lol
I kind of miss having a dog (had one growing up on the acreage). Cities are lame for having dogs though. Outdoor dogs don't require much looking after, other than feeding them and playing with them, haha.

Indeed, i myself live in the suburbs, and even though that is not the city I encountered all sorts of problems. I had 2 golden retrievers and had to keep them inside at night because the neighbors complain as i stated above when they bark. Even though they were kept in the bathroom at night they tore up the place rendering it unusable for the duration that the dogs were in my care. I could only imagine what it would be like to have to keep them inside 24/7 if i lived in the city.
The smaller species of dogs such as pomerians are probably better for indoors

I have a friend who owns a pomerian which he keeps indoors, it honestly makes little noise unless it have reason to, but honestly this may vary between dogs. The entire reason why i had to keep my golden retrievers inside at night was because they barked all day and all night long. But at least a small dog is less capable of digging a hole into your bathroom wall during the night while you are asleep.

I love dogs, but unfortunately I haven't met too many of them although I see them around here ALL THE TIME.

im kinda the opposite of you I have this weird issue where i'm afraid of everyone's dogs except for the ones i raise, and puppies. I think they all want to bite me for some reason ;\ So even though i've seen a lot of them im pretty glad i don't actually "meet them" lol
