POPULAR POST!

Tired of looking for the right process while using Google Chrome + CE? Well here's a quick tutorial on how to find your process faster.

Tools:

Chrome (Obviously)

Windows Calculator

Step 1. Open a new tab in chrome and type in about:memory. Look for the Plug-in (Shockwave Flash) and copy the number next to it. So for me its 3828.

Step 2. Open up your windows Calculator, make sure programmer is selected (Hit Alt+3 to open the Programmer Mode). Type in the number your PID gives you for your plug-in and click Hex. Figure B and C will explain.

Figure B

Figure C

Step 3. Open your cheat engine process window and look for the last three or four digits/alphabetical. So mines is highlighted in Red.

Congrats, you got the right process.

I normally just check using the speedhack check box. If you can tick it, that means you've hooked the correct browser. If yo can't tick it, try another one :)

Sorry for ressurrecting the thread, but chrome:memory (or about:memory) is removed now. If someone is wondering, press shift + esc to open chrome's task manager and get the ID. The rest remains untouched. :)
