They can go on your lutari talisman and increase you random events, and can give you discounts at main shops, and have the possibility of giving you more nps when you send a score. There's a petpage on them somewhere.

I'm interested in these ones now, I vaguely heard lutari beads, but I figured they were just for show.

They have some pretty useful effects. However, if you're planning to go out and buy them, I dont think they're worth it because of how rare they are.

Back when I was young and Lutari Island was out I got my first account frozen. <3 It was by making fake referrals (how you got the beads) and selling beads for like 200-500k each. I got myself a Royalboy Draik... Good days. Account was stable until someone drew a picture for my Draik to enter Beauty Contest and people went "AMG YOU STOLE THAT PIC..." Ookkayyy... Sad times were had by all. Didn't play neopets again for 3 years.

The discount from the beads doesn't seem to be big enough to offset the price of the beads. What's more, the discount was said to be random, so you can't be sure if you'll get the discount or not.

You'll be better off getting these beads as collectors items than getting them in hopes of the random rewards.
