Are they A: Worth it, and B: What's the expected price? Like level 10 is 1 mil... 20 is XXX...

Here you have a guide, with all the prices, and what they are worth aprox http://www.thedailyn...illusens-quest/ If its worth it, its up to you, and to luck :p it depends on what she asks for in the latter levels

Here's the guide for jhudora's quest from the same site:

http://www.thedailyn...jhudoras-quest/

I just think it's impractical to do their quests just for the prizes. The only practical reason to doing their quests is getting their avatars on the 20/21 quest or the the annual avatars, but that's the extent of their usefulness. I believe that the guides that doesn't emphasize enough the huge gamble that people take to reach level 50 or even to 35/38. In illusen's quest at around level 34/35, she WILL ask for a R99 item (From my previous experiences, I was asked a cheap Lab Map piece and an affordable petpetpet) and you may get quite unlucky! Also note that unbuyables may appear in earlier levels because that they're avatar items (like Bag of Peanuts), or they have been recently released (I got hit hard when the R75 Black Chia Pop was unbuyable because it was released on the day I did that quest). If I apply all this to simple model showing the profit gain from the prizes vs the possible costs of the ingredients for the quest, you'd still be losing money because of the retrials from randonmly losing at levels 27 and higher. In my opinion, you're better off wasting your ingredient budget of 16m to reach level 50 of Jhudora's quest (assuming you completed all her quests in a row) on spinning the Wheel of extravagance 160 times, but that's just me.

How much will it take to make level 38? Since the potion's then... I was thinking of just going up to there

Consider this: The potential for quests that cost more than 50K (t0 me at least) starts at level 26. Even though the item selection at each rarity is different, The cost progression is averaged (again from my experiences) to is normally + 23K per quest after level 23. So, it WOULD cost like 6m to reach that level, but you will highly would not even reach that point because you WILL face unbuyables and the chances of traders being 100% online is slim (though possible). I would say that you have MUCH better luck ABing in the attic and getting a Draik Egg of any sort within that time frame with smart times.

I like to do Jhudora's first because that avatar is my favorite. Other than that, they're pretty pointless quests.

Okay thanks. Also... is it weird for me not to have made 2 mil after ABing for 3 weeks?

it really depends on what your buying, the profit margin and if they are ets/hts.

What'm I doing wrong??? Eh... default settings... should I go random?? I've been using a list for clothing/pharmacy, because those are the only places where I occasionally get stuff. Where should I restock, and for how long? (And not getting iced is important too)

I got illusen's quest third place trophy at level 37. Is it worth the prize? No, my bank was drained on the 38th quest. I cost me over 2M. The thing is, I have the NP but when she starts asking for UBs, 16minutes of waiting is not enough for you to lurk at the TP. I was lucky enough that at 35, some of the items she was looking for was available at the TP with many traders. So if you are at 30+ levels already, do the quest when there are many players online. I failed to do the quest at 39 because the only one selling the item I need was not OL. It really was frustrating as I were aiming for the gold trophy. At 35+ by the way, she asks for morphing potions costing at about (100K+ to 400K+). At higher one, HTS items like gifts, memorabilias, collectibles, etc. if your aim os for the prizes, don't do it unless you are really rich and is feeling lucky.

Well, good news then! I'm apparently "the luckiest son of a bitch ever" (although I guess that was for Magic when it came to opening boosters and blind reveals for Counterbalance)

Either way, if you're going for it, remember that you've got a community here that may be willing to help you out, if you ask nicely. There's also neofriends (I save neofriends with anyone I sell anything high-end to, if I can help it) and the Quest Board on the neoboards. Don't be afraid to neomail people like crazy (particularly people in the trading post), do searches through the shop wiz for galleries, etc.

I have gone for Illusens staff before but I failed on level 30+ (I think 35)
She asked for a UB and no one who had it was on so I failed :/
Never attempted either again.

They are obnoxious. I got hit with a UB as low as level 10 or maybe sooner. I can't remember. It was really frustrating. I also got hit with a UB food at level 18. Just my luck.

Spend a few hours a day. Probably 3-4 hours, leaving it on in the background, but i only focus on one shop at a time.

The problem isn't the money. It's the availability of the items. Most things she asks for aren't terribly expensive but getting them within 16 minutes, that's the tough part.

I agree :( Most of the times.. even though with the funds to buy the item, the item is unavailable.. Failed illusen's quest at lvl 30+ because there wasnt enough time :crybaby:

So not worth it past 20. Seriously, at level 21 from Illusen, she asked for something that was like 200k. Hells naw.

apparently its not worth it, as the later levels are hard to get items. and if you dont do it within the time limit, everything is reset and your efforts would have been wasted.
