Omg, you collect polar bears too?! I've never found anyone else who does!

I'm obsessed :3 Those and cheetahs are my favorite animals.

I used to collect beanie babies, but stopped collecting anything at all once they ended up being completely worthless once the craze died. Scott collects enough for me that I might as well be collecting them, too. Magic cards (every Nicol Bolas card in existence), Hockey cards, Hockey memorabilia, WoW pets, collectors editions of MMOs, game systems, etc. It's a bit crazy, but it accrues in value very well.

TGC tournaments don't allow the use of older generation cards anymore, due to imprecise wording on the cards.
Only cards from the Diamond/Pearl generation and onwards are permitted.
Thus, I think only collectors would buy them.

Charizard from the base set is definately the most sought after card, but it's reprint for the D/P generation is only worth about $14 or so

Oh well these are all the real deal, no cheap 20th generation bullshit or purple backs. I guess I'll keep patient with this until I find some insane collector.

Wasn't there a time when the foil charizard of the blue/red sets cost like $100? What happened that made them fall so much as a collectors item?

People stopped caring, I'd think.

Shit's over 10 years old, unless it's a rare comic book, you're not going to get much for it.

DON'T SAY THAT. If we all put our mind to it, anything can happen!

I hope they don't keep declining in price then.

I did that when I was like 14, but as a 14 year old, naturally I was going to a lot of movies. My collection got a little out of hand.

Back when i was younger i was right into collecting anything to do with Spiderman/Marvel. I had two complete sets of trading cards (which i still own today) that are now worth around $1000 each :) Good to have as a small investment. I also used to collect the figurines from the spiderman series. I had a massive collection of comics including some very LE ones. My parents still have them at their place. Makes me want to get them all out and start reading them again haha.

I collect coins from anywhere outside the United States. Some of them are in cases but a majority of them are in a thick Ziploc bag since I'm too stupid to get anything else.
