I agree with closing ir off to the public But I would ask to make us newbies keep the program the way it is. I mean, I don´t really care if it is random. I can work with the limits, but I am kind of addicted to it, even if my profits are not that high.

I agree with this. I understand it must be a pain all these newbies coming along and whatever.. but we've got the program now. It's a bit harsh to let us have it and then take it away, no? We've already got the limits on it. I don't know. XD I do know though, that I for one - and I presume a lot of others - have been poking around the forum since I joined and have been trying to get involved.

Really, what you guys do here is beyond amazing. I swear you're all geniuses. *jealous*

The problem is the program will eventually become famous and you will se almost everybody using it, TNT will find out what's happening in no time and will make sure to screw it for us.

I don´t want it to be closed to the public. What I wanted was to agree with a possible solution to a problem. The software is open to anyone. For instance, I never heard about Neocodex until last week, when I searched on Google for an AB program. It was really easy for me to come, download the program and start buying lots of items.

If it was easy for me it is easy for everyone. It will get to a point where all the items will be grabbed by this amazing software. TNT can notice this and take action. They can freeze us all, or maybe they can just release more and more spite dolls, for instance. Let´s say they start releasing 30 spite dolls a day. At the end of the week its value will drop.

I understand the measures Neocodex takes to avoid this. The limit of 500 posts is a great measure. But I think members that never post or visit the forum are not interested in things like being frozen or inflation in Neoland.

As for running the program and visiting Neocodex, I have read somewhere in the forum that there is a risk because of the cookies. As I said before, I am not sure if it is true or not, but just in case I logout when I go to Neopets.

Neopets cannot see what other sites you visit. That would be a violation of your privacy. The Internet model is constructed in such a way that sites can only see the cookies they set on your computer and nothing else (else you could grab someone's bank cookie and have access to all their bank information). Therefore, it is safe to visit Neopets and Neocodex at the same time. They cannot, ever, find out. At least, not through this way.

Where you do have to be careful is with clicking links. Until further notice, all linking to Neopets on our site is disabled because they track the site you came from (through the referrer) and can then see your trail and possibly some of the sites you visit. Many sites do this to get a better idea of where their traffic is coming from. But I believe Neopets uses this to determine which accounts belong to Neocodex users. We are working on a safe way to allow linking on the boards and we will let you know when linking to Neopets is enabled again. Until then, just put a space in the URL for Neopets and you should still be able to post. Users will have to manually remove that space when they copy and paste it into their browser, but it will ensure that they wont be tracked as coming from Neocodex (this is seen as a direct visit).

Yes, you shouldn't go to Neopets while you are running a program. That's both highly suspicious for exactly the reason you mentioned and also it might cause the program to get logged out since Neopets views the program as another browser and you can only be logged into one browser at one time.

So, changing subject a little. Today is the half price day, right? Are you using the program today? It is worthy? I mean, do they release good items today?

I wanted to run the program today and try to get some good items but I am not sure if I will find good ones.

On the subject of the possibility of our ABer reducing the chances of getting items, I've been autobuying today (not with Abrosia) and haven't noticed any significant difference in success rate from normal, in fact I'd probably say i'm still getting over 90% buy rate and that's in the most popular shop which Abrosia gives in the lists.

Didn't SL prevent the adding of mainshop prices to the database on half price day? I think we discussed that fairly early on.

In fact, if enough prices are in, it will really offset our prices since we use averages from the last 10 prices . We may want to program something in to not accept prices on the 3rd or we would have to go into this error/correction phase every month on the third .

QUESTION: How much do I sell the items I get with Abrosia for. I used the autopricer and I havent sold anything in days. Ive looked at the shop wiz and my item is not the lowest price, should it be the lowest price?

I have to confess, I am a premium user. The search limit sucks. They could do something like "you can only make 10 searches". The way it is I never know how many searches I can do.

I wish I could be fast enough to do what some people do. They search only the price, like the paintbrushes, they see that one is available, they go to normal search and buy it.

This is weird. I have made more then 1.5 million so far. I only got one UB and it is not a super expensive item.

My advice would be: keep the log, try to price the items by searching in the shop wiz. There is a feature in the program where you can set it to price the items for you, anyway. But it is better to check with shop wiz.
