Has anyone else been having trouble getting items with Abrosia today?

I got home to find it had missed 18 items in a row Posted Image. That has never, ever happened before. I usually get 1 in two...or at worst 1 in 3 attempts.

It happens but quite rare for me. One of the reason is my high refresh rate. But it seems that the shops are restocking less at this point of time.

Mine is only buying 2-3 items in several hours' time. I now have to keep multiple Abrosia windows open, only 3 or 4 at a time, but they still each only buy 2-3 items. This has been happening for a few days now :( I don't run it constantly, pretty much once every day and a half. It used to buy 20-40 items in the same amount of time =\

Are all the instances of the program logged into the same account? O_o

I remember when there were around 25 people running Abrosia (according the item DB) but now it tends to be around the 60 mark most of the time. I guess there is a lot more competition these days.

Yeah, same account. i thought it would be unfair to be using all different accounts.

That's a good point though, that there is more competition. ALL of us are using this top-of-the-line program, so we is snatchin' things up from under each other!

20 - 40 is a lot for such a short time. My best was 3 hours 20 items.

Why do I sometimes log out automatically when the program is on? Happens after a while after I start it, while doing other stuff on the site

Well, that's because You can't browse the site while the program is running. Either run the program, or browse the site, you can't be doing two things at once.

Thanks for this great program, but I have a quastin: Why am i allways at the same shops?
Like, 1 hour at Chocolate Factory, Neopian Furniture, Bakery or Super Happy Icy Fun Snow Shop, and 5-10 min at other shops

45 minutes is the default amount of time to spend in a shop. You cannot lower that until you become advanced.

ShadowLink set up the shop probability to place you in shops based on how many profitable items stock in those shops. Chocolate and Bakery have a high percentage of profitable items.

When ABrosia changes shops early, it is because it caught a restock usually. ABrosia is designed to switch shops after catching one.

If you need any more clarification, feel free to ask.

I'm not really into this whole ABing thing, but I decided to try this out. I've had bad luck with rs bans lately and within 30minutes of running this, I got rs banned (lol). My refresh rate is 8-10seconds. This is a more complex AB version compared to this greasemonkey script that I have so I'm quite impressed.

Secondly if i press stop on the aber is it logging me out on the page that the aber is on or can i do that for a break and it wont log me off then log me back on when I restart it.

do you have premium? if so log out of premium before you use a program on this site. the programs act funny with premium.

no I dont have premium but since people keep mentioning a pause button i was wondering if using the stop button only paused the bot instead of logging the bot out of my account. I don't want neopets to see me logging on and off everytime i start abing or want to go for a break.

/edit

and When the bot is running I do not see a firefox page at all it just runs in the backround. I havent tried watching the bot like opening a firefox page and go to neopets due to not wanting it to have 2 things at once going on.

you definitely don't want to browsing neopets and running abrosia simultaneously.

Apparently everyone that answered you missed your point completely.

No, there isnt a way to view the page that the bot goes to. It uses an internal browser that mimics your installed browser, and accesses neopets independently. Its nothing that you would want to see anyways, just a bunch of shops saying "We have no inventory!". Now, after it buys something, if you have screenshots enabled, you can go to the finial page of a buy where it says "I accept your off of XXX neopoints". That way you can make a screenshot :)

As for your other question. The stop button does not log you out of your account, and regardless of if it did, or did not. Neopets does not monitor logins(So far).

How realistic do you think it is for someone to be able to sit there refreshing consistantly for a few hours within a two second range?

Make it 4-10 or 6-12 or something.

yeah the problem is without 500 posts you can only start at 8 so it sucks, i have mine on 8-11 i might switch to 8-12. I do it stop every once and a while aswell. Once I get 500 posts it will be a bit easier because setting the time from a min of 8 seconds if i go like 8-15 it will take forever to to restock. When I used to manually do it I used to refresh every 5 seconds on the dot because i watched the neo timer for like an hour straight :p But anyways hopefully nobody runs it for a few hours without any breaks or changes of page hah.

Maybe. I've gotten accounts frozen by this, and kept accounts despite this. If you transfer items and neopoints between accounts, you increase the chances of being frozen.

I think that ABrosia should have a feature where if the user is out of funds the bot should stop maybe after it fails 3 times or something.
