This probably sounds stupid, but how do you get the VIP feature? You know to choose specific shops?

You have to be an Advanced Member. Either obtain 500 posts and become an integrate part of a growing community, or pay a fee to get there quicker, and we still hope you stay apart of our community!

Lol, nice speedy reply! I like that. I hate it when you're on forums and stuff and you have to wait hours if not days for anyone to give you the time of day.

I'm confident that it's the proxy then. I would try and find a new one, or test the proxy manually in your browser. I've found Abrosia can be quite touchy using them.

Thanks, changing to another proxy did the trick.

Another question if you don't mind, is entering a proxy into Abrosia enough to prevent chain ice? Or do I have use a proxy for my browser also?

No problem. :p We have some more great plans for Abrosia in the works, I just haven't gotten around to much yet. :(

Anything that allows TNT to link multiple accounts together makes you at risk for a chain ice.

I suspect they log what IP addresses people use to login, and purchase items, but not necessary browse pages. So if you log into multiple accounts, its best to use a proxy on the browser too.

Hiya guys, was wondering if I could help with the updates on item prices. I realized that there are many inaccurate prices in the database.

e.g. I bought a Beautiful Columns Foreground originally stated to be at 300k estimated. However, I managed to sell it for 500k pretty easily.

Also, there are times when the autobuyer buys something from a shop for 2 to 3k and estimates it to be like 9 or 10k when it is only around 3k in the Shop Wiz.

Is there a way for me to input these prices into the database or a person for me to notify so that he/she may update it? By helping the database, I'm sure everyone would mutually benefit from this and it would be a really good thing considering that most of us were originally leeching the program to begin with. :D

To help prevent database sabotage, we only allow Advanced Members with over 500 posts to change the prices in the database. However, you're free to submit your price to a willing advanced member who can enter them for you. :p

Advanced members can update prices. You'll get there soon enough!

Not everyone is expected to make 500 posts. In fact, it's set so high to deter people:

There's a two-way street between trying to reach as many people as possible with the program, and not ruining the experience for everyone else running the ABer. My mind has been dwelling on this dilemma for a while now, and I think that once we have a statistics center, we can judge the conditions that people experience when using Abrosia a bit more accurately. It's unfortunate that we can't just make the program completely open as we do with our other programs.

Yeah I do agree about the two-way part. Anyways, I made a post when I introduced myself, also asking if I could help with anything around here. I would really like to actively participate in this community, apart from posting. I have Html, Flash, C & C++ basics though I doubt you use any of these to make your programs. If you guys need an additional programmer, I could use just a little guidance to start out.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Ive been using Abrosia for about 2 weeks now (almost) , and I've had many great catches. This program does work, and it works WELL. Most items are get are worth between 10-30k, which is really nice. Some items have been as much as 200k or so. My shop holds around 80-some items, and its been mostly full since using Abrosia. Also, this gives me something to look forward when I leave my computer idle - I come back and love to see what I've "caught"

Thanks for the program!

Hey SL, if lets say, pharm restocks and it sees Cactopus Cream and Medicinal Soap, does it determine which is worth more before buying?

Thanks! I'm only using one account now. That means I should remove using Abrosia proxy right? Since two different proxy for one account would be suspicious.

Sorry but another question, my buy time is unusually high, like 10-30k ms. Did I configure something wrongly or just my server issue?

It goes for the item with the most profit first

If you're using neocodex item db, I believe it goes for most profit first, but if you're using a manual list, I think it goes for whichever is up highest on the list.

I agree on the first half.
for the second half, I doubt that. I use my own AB list; last night when Underwater BG and Fungus Cave BG restocked at the same time, abrosia go for Fungus Cave BG and missed the underwater BG.
I am sure that Underwater BG is well above Fungus Cave BG in my list, so... I've got no idea.

Close abrosia and then open it back up and it should start you off with another random shop, or alternatively you can choose your shop by using a manual item list.

ok thanks :) Still new to this prog. needs some getting used to .

MANUAL LISTS USE WHAT APPEARS ON THE SHOP PAGE FIRST, NOT ALPHABETICAL ORDER, OR ORDER OF LIST.

DB MODE ALWAYS MAXIMIZES PROFIT WHEN CHOOSING WHAT TO BUY.

For the first point, I might be changing it to order of what's in the list, since some people sort their lists by profitability. As for the second point with the DB mode, who would even question the way this is done?

It's just that I've repeated this a couple times, though I guess I can't blame people for not wanting to look through 207 pages of posts... :/
