As a recent user who just discovered the ABer software you fine folks have made available, I can definitely confirm that the imported lists are not based on profit as SL64 said. I've had mine go for many a 10k item over a 100k item (despite a profit ordered list), but in the end I'm not about to complain, as I'm making way more NP daily than ever before. A change to list priority sure would be nice though for us non-advanced users

The question I actually want to ask is regarding the igloo shop. I personally don't use the feature as I prefer to spread my ABing over a few 30-45min stints during the day, so I have yet to be RS banned. However, I do have an older account (>3 years) and thus have access to the almost abandoned attic. As a shop that only restocks Rarity 80+ items from any main shop, uses a no-haggle system, and only restocks at 53 seconds past the minute, I suspect it would be very very easy to create a program to refresh once a minute and perform a one click purchase on an item based on profitability from a giant compiled list (aka your DB).

Obviously if such a program already exists, ignore this as the ramblings of a novice user who hasn't explored the whole site yet, but if not, it could provide a nice separate program or abrosia add-on for users with older neopet accounts to make a bit of spare cash.

They do exist, and one is/was currently in development here. There have already been a few threads discussing it.

Read through the last 5-6 pages and you'll see that this does happen to people. You just have to restart Abrosia. There's no fix I know of.

If you are over eager you could always pay a small monthly fee xD. Or else just look at the left side of all your posts!

No.. none of my shells have any shops. You can still restock if you don't have a shop.

What makes you think I'm not logged in? I had two random events while it was running.

EDIT: I should also mention that I was at Shops 1 & 15 at 1.5k profit.

which part are you referring to?
the restock ban or the failed till collection?

I was referring to the 4.5 hours or so that I was in those shops and grabbed absolutely nothing. Has been happening this morning as well.

I'm assuming the shops just aren't restocking at all because it does buy if I set the minimum profit to 1np.

Hmm.. I was able to grab a few things. I guess it depends what stores you're at since some stores like the brightvale can have long periods of no restock.

I hate that!! Before I knew about codex/ABrosia, when I was a loser, I would sit in a shop to RS but it wouldn't do anything for forever.

Sorry if this was explained in one of the 200 some odd pages, I was not able to find it. But I'm kinda stupid when it comes to the proxy thing that allows TNT not to be able to see my IP address. Can someone explain how to do that since I obviously wouldn't want to be IP banned if I'm frozen yanno? Thanks again!

Ran into a new problem, but I did not copy what was in the Ambrosia screen. But it was trying to buy an item and it wrote. Missed __X___ Item. (Five second rule). Then it appeared five more times with the same item every couple minutes or so. Any idea what that means?

You're gonna have to be more specific, but the second rule is set by neopets so a user has to wait five seconds between purchasing an item, before he/she can purchase another

Nevermind, I found it in the bug reports here. It is the flaming blooble potion and is already the status is confirmed already as a bug. Thanks for the quick response.

Nah, it isn't hanging on me. The damn shops just won't restock. That screenshot is just showing my log after a 4 hour run. Nothing but a random event.

During the past 3-4 days I've only AB'ed two of the same item - 'Grey Cheescake'. (3k profit)
I'm impatient.

I just tried downloading Abrosia again and it works fine for me. Try again? Maybe with a different browser or something?
