I'm more curious as to how you joined almost 2 years ago and just now downloaded the program and posted on the boards? O_o

Most likely joined Codex, got tired of Neopets, took a break, and now he's back. O_o

True. It's not silly to me, but from his perspective it seemed that way. He thought it was silly/cute, rather.

But now he's complaining that I've gotten him addicted :p

I've had an account since '05, but haven't used it since sometime in '06.

hum... not sure if it's just me, but i seem to be getting constantly logged off [browsing on firefox, while also running Sid Challenger], i just downloaded it in hopes of using it for the Chocolate avatar, as i'm never fast enough to grab those rare items :(, i've tried with Sid challenger off, so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

You can disable taking from your Shop Till. Settings exist for a reason.

Where?? I do not see the option to disable withdraw from shop till

Hahaha thats exactly what happened!

I wish this auto buyer could buy only cheaper items with a good profit margin. It always buys items 1k-2k for me. And I only make about 100NP each item. But costing 1k each really drains my bank.

If you don't like the database's margin of error, just make your own list.

I complained about not being able to turn that off a few months back. :p

I've completely disabled all item management options and it still happens. I'm not sure it can be disabled.

When you first start things go pretty slowly. Give it a week or so and with a million in your bank that 1k-2k won't mean anything to you.

Where it says, "Keep a maximum of x np on hand" if it dips below that amount, it will grab from your till.

And there is also a setting for profit margin.

Negative.

That option only deposits extra money in the bank.

Every x minutes it will withdraw money from the till.

If he's willing to sacrifice item management entirely, he could set the item management variable to a ludicrously high number... then it wouldn't trigger in the time he was autobuying.

It's not a tidy fix, but it's a fix nonetheless.

Doing that now actually. It never really bothered me enough to tinker the settings like this, but awesome.

I like watching my Till climb into the millions, no idea why. xD

Yeah exactly. If it grabs from your till, you cant watch it grow and essentially nothing gets accomplished because its using your profits on items if you are not paying attention. Otherwise I love program and I dont mean to shat on it!

Oh and im noy trying to say you are wrong. However, ive tried setting it to "no action" and it still took from my till. So i dont think theres a way around this.

It does that because the whole concept of the program is to be self-funding so you never run out of NP to buy items with and it then banks any profits above your set on-hand limit. If you PM ShadowLink64 he might add it as an option in the next update.

I dont understand how people watch there till climb to millions with this program. Can someone explain exactly what they buy and what profit margin they are using? Ill admit this program is sweet because it buys everything! But thats exactly it, EVERYTHING lol. I need to find the perfect profit niche. Something that the autobuyer buys and I can sell for about half price and it sells FAST.

Right I know what youre saying. Do you know what I mean though?? If someone were to leave the computer alone, then it will keep taking from your till and nothing gets accomplished. If someone were to answer to this by saying: "Well you can choose the option to put NP in your bank account".........but that wouldnt work if your shop isnt selling fast enough!

As long as you're buying items which are profitable then something is being accomplished. ;) As I said, PM ShadowLink64 and give him your suggestion.

Ok i will do that and PM him. What do you suggest is profitable? Its kind of hard being a basic member because the shops are random. I tried signing up for advanced member and the site didnt take my credit card. So I cant help that problem :/

Missed my point, then ;)

Scenario:
I want to AB for 4 hours without touching my till.

Solution:
Perform Item Management Every: 250+ Mins.

Item Management will not trigger while the program is running.

Savvy?

Right, but I had item management turned off in general....meaning "no action" and it still took from my till

But i will try what you say and see if it works. Thanks! :)

You could also try creating and using your own restock list if you don't want to be placed in random shops.

Yeah i tried that man. And it didnt work at all. Didnt grab a single thing. Anybody know why? I also notice when you do this, you cant choose profit margin or anything like that. So how does it grab items?
