Yeah i tried that man. And it didnt work at all. Didnt grab a single thing. Anybody know why? I also notice when you do this, you cant choose profit margin or anything like that. So how does it grab items?

Perhaps you didn't make a very good list or you may have chose a very competitive shop, there's lots of reasons why you might not have bought anything. And when you give a manual list it doesn't need the profit margin, that's only for people using the database lists. If you provide your own list it will only purchase items which are in your list.

But if there isnt a profit margin, then its going to buy the items on your list at highest price leaving no room for profit. Do you know a really good item that is well searched in Shop Wizard? Im trying to find the niche

Dude whilst creating your own lists you need to consider the following things:
- Restock times.
- Other legal restockers.
- Other much-faster autobuyers.

If you have created a list, you need luck to be on your side and for the faster autobuyers to back off.

You put ONLY the items on your list that give you the profit you'd like. If you're using a manual list and you buy something that you think wasn't worth it, then delete it off your list. O_o

What does the shop wizard have to do with it?

The list order is effectively your equivalent to the profit margin. It reads the list from top to bottom, so the top is where you put your highest potential profit/the item you most want to target.

Nah, it doesn't read from top to bottom. It just purchase the first item that RS in the shop that is on your list.

You've got to wait 5 seconds after buying an item to be able to buy another.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be condescending or offensive. =X

Here is Slinky better explanation.

"MANUAL LISTS USE WHAT APPEARS ON THE SHOP PAGE FIRST, NOT ALPHABETICAL ORDER, OR ORDER OF LIST.

DB MODE ALWAYS MAXIMIZES PROFIT WHEN CHOOSING WHAT TO BUY.

For the first point, I might be changing it to order of what's in the list, since some people sort their lists by profitability. As for the second point with the DB mode, who would even question the way this is done?

It's just that I've repeated this a couple times, though I guess I can't blame people for not wanting to look through 207 pages of posts... :/ "

I gave you the wrong implication. I was the one trying to be condescending. Sorry about that. I'm just glad to hear how it actually works before I every try it.

Right I know what youre saying. Do you know what I mean though?? If someone were to leave the computer alone, then it will keep taking from your till and nothing gets accomplished. If someone were to answer to this by saying: "Well you can choose the option to put NP in your bank account".........but that wouldnt work if your shop isnt selling fast enough!

Nothing gets accomplished?

Let me explain to you how profit works.

See. You have 1,000 np. Abrosia buys something for 1,000 that sells for 5,000. It then takes that 5,000 np from your till. Buy 5 more items at 1k that sell for 5k, and now you have 25k np. (That does happen to be a profit). It then takes that money, and buys 3 items at 5k that sell for 10k and 1 item at 10k that sells for 30k. Say that just the 3 items sell, and the 10k item takes longer.

You still have 30k on hand, and 30k in assests. Thats 30x more then you started with in pure np, and 60x more in over all net worth.

Imagine if the cycle kept growing. Eventually you'll have 1 million np on hand, and a million np in the shop. Meaning that you will continue making money in the future even if you dont ab.

Honestly. Think of Abrosia as the best investerment broker you will ever have. You give Abrosia a thousand dollars and tell him to invest it. He comes back and says, I made you 100,000 dollars, and you have stock that will sell for another 100,000 dollars over the next month. (If only this guy existed in real life). YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO PAY HIM COMMISSION.
