well while im here i might as well stay on topic XD (admins can keep their positions tbh, too much stress for me to handle haha)

Im having issues with Abrosia not buying anything from the Attic. I mean it doesnt even see ANY misses or anything. I have used it on and off the whole time ive been using the AB'er over my time here and still not even one miss let alone a buy.

My attic times are 3-6 secs wait delay, and visit times are set to :42-:58

Now i would assume ive done something wrong or my times needed adjusting, BUT i see others with the same times as me and they manage to see misses AND buy items too.

Is there any way to remedy this problem?

Can you try changing your system time to around PST and see if that changes anything with regard to attic attempts?

It's on a VPS, and it's already set to that

Can you check if the NST shown in Abrosia is in sync with that on Neopets itself too then? And also that your VPS has the date set correctly, just in case.

On a related note, ever since the update, Abrosia seems to;

a) Possibly be buying less in main shops... not sure because the shops I'm in don't RS all the time... but usually I have some attempts by now.
b) Definitely not buying from attic. My original settings were 'working' and I'd at least be attempting attic items. Since the update, the program has not attempted a single item from the Attic at all.
c) Buying much less from Igloo. Usually I get a decent number of items per day (5-10) but since the update 1 account has managed 6 items and another account has managed a total of 16.


There are no error messages coming up or anything like that, so not sure what the problem is. I haven't altered any settings, nor should I need to as the other settings worked fine...

I am so glad to read that someone else is having the same problems I am in the attic. Not glad that we're not buying, of course. But you know.

Current date 10/12/2011 (Why do you Americans put it as mm / dd / yy... so odd...)

That's because of how they say dates, "October 12th 2011" rather than how normal people would say it, "12th of October 2011".

What are your attic settings on btw? If it's the correct date, time and sync then it's strange that it would be seeing fewer items...it should be checking for restocks at the correct times (the designated 7 minute intervals).

Nothing has changed on my end (other then updating the program).

Settings;
Enable Attic AB - Ticked
Disable MSAB - Unticked
Seconds past the minute (NST) to refresh - 45-10 (I've always used these).

ItemList Settings;
Use Item Database list - Ticked
Minimum Profit - 100000

Can you try changing it to 45-59 and seeing if that makes any difference?

I am going to try this out too and see if it makes a difference. I have been playing with the refresh times but my range is usually about 5 seconds. I also tried lowering my profit to 10k and it didn't help.

You have it set on 3-6 secs wait delay? Its no suprise you'll never even see an item. Items in the attic are bought up at sub 300ms buyrates, and often with a refresh rate of 100 to 200ms, you still end up missing a majority of the items. Many other sites have users frequently posting 200ms buyrates in the attic. Refresh rates below that of course.

i did have it on a 0.2-0.4 refresh rate to start with and was still having no luck AT ALL. No misses, no buys, nothing. So i changed it to 3-6 secs to see if that changed anything and still nothing. I dont know... its obviously just hating me i think.
