Very true..Gotta wait 5s between restocks plus...why risk getting frozen/rs banned quicker? You do miss a lotta items but it depends if your advanced or not.

I think you missed my point.

I was talking about not raising the wait time to 5s because you'll likely miss more items by losing to other Abers than by the 5 second rule

No, I got your point also. by having it at 5 in reality it most likely would be 5.5...leaving it at 4.5 allows that extra .5 to restock another quick item.

Quick question to everyone. Do you usually use your main account, with all your expensive pets and such to use the Abrosia or a side account on a different ip?

Also, if anyone is familiar with peerguardian do you use it in combination with Abrosia, just so you wont get ip banned, I know its rare to be ip banned but just asking.

Peer Guardian wouldn't do anything with regards to Neopets...

It's really a matter of luck - you either refresh within a second of restock time, or five or more and it really makes all the difference!

Magic shop is a good way to get yourself iced though tbh, you can actually make more profit by getting more lower profit items than a few higher profit (but risky) ones. ;)

am i the only person having the problem where, when you minimize abrosia it still shows an icon in the taskbar even though it has the "A" icon in the sys tray too? I'm running Win 7 ultimate btw. My gf has the same setup, just on a laptop and it minimizes just fine for her though :S

Yeah I get that too, and it only does that WHILE it's running, minimizing it while it's in standby will do what the other programs do.

Abrosia behaves differently depending how you log in, at least for me. Importing cookies will let you minimize it to where it disappears from the taskbar. Manual log-ins won't make the taskbar disappear. I have tested this consistently.

I've been using this for a week or two and it works amazingly. Seriously, within minutes of turning it on I got a veeery expensive book haha, when my old ABer never bought me one single thing. Abrosia has made me tons of profit and I just want to say thanks to the creators!

it all depends on a few factors, one of them is how many people are online

shops are restocking REALLY slowly at the moment, saw 1 item last 45 minutes also, stopping in 10 min to go sleep though

Haha. Computers seem to have a mind of their own... the programmers tell them to do one thing and it goes and does something else.
(I'll probably fix this and all of the other small bugs when I'm "back" in late April/May-ish... any serious/critical bugs I'll deal with ASAP though since people will get annoyed)

No problem. :D The project still has lots of work left to be done on it (though the essentials are more or less working great as you can see), but I think that even where we are now with it, it's a huge success.

Also, if anyone is familiar with peerguardian do you use it in combination with Abrosia, just so you wont get ip banned, I know its rare to be ip banned but just asking.

Yes, like LW said, PeerGuardian does nothing good. PG is designed to "block" certain IP addresses that you're connecting to (so they don't harvest your information and sue you if you're downloading a torrent or something), but the only peers you are communicating with are Neopets and Neocodex. If you block NP, you can't autobuy anymore, and if NC is blocked, it can no longer download new lists, authenticate, or update our database.

So yeah, it does no good. :p

so this is why it won't work for me XD.

also PeerGuardian works off of lists that are downloaded by the program if I remember correctly. Thus it only gives you bad IP's that everyone knows about. Only when someone gets nailed by a bad IP will the list get updated and you could be that one person that gets nailed.
