Occasionally, Abrosia freezes up and stops working. When I look at the error log, it says that Abrosia was logged out and could not reconnect. It there a way to change reconnection settings? I looked in the manual, but the Web Settings section does not give much detail.

EDIT: Is it even worth trying plushies? I think I'm getting good profit at other stores, maybe 50k per hour or so.

If you want to log in manually, Abrosia should log you back in. Unless your internet is wonky it should work like a charm.

If you're only doing low-end cheating like this, only the account will be frozen.

If ABing is low-end cheating, what is high-end cheating?

The Web Settings panel has a field labeled "Number of seconds before connection timeout". It is set to 9 (default). If I raise that number, will that increase the chances of Abrosia reconnecting instead of giving up, or is that for something else?

Look, for all the posts I read, almost everyone always complain because they did not buy anything, I feel that these days using the AB, he did not purchase items because the list is too expensive or because someone already bought the item, have to think which is not only that you are using AB at X store, but many other users, even I lose many good things in store for clothes, but buying other
Everything is a matter of having patience and test the program in several different ways

Right exactly.

Thats why I DO NOT use lists. I set my profit low 2k-3k and I still get tons of shit. I have a size 6X store that I like to keep full and guess what..within 24 hrs its 50% empty! Thats a huge profit for me. I won't mention the UBs I undersell on the TP. I get at least 1 a day.

Sooo

1. Don't get greedy, set your profit lowish
2. Don't just go to high end stores, slow and steady wins the race
3. Undersell your UBs on the TP sell them for 99,999 in your store.

that's the approach i was going for from the start, but the problem is that since i'm not advanced i can't pick which store to go to. of course i understand that's the privilidge of being advanced, you get better chances than everyone else and i completely agree with that, no reason the n00bs like me should get an even playing field with veterans :) my question is, is there a way for me to avoid abrosia (default settings of 45mins per store) going from store to store till it gets stuck at a store like magic where it doesn't buy anything for the 45 minutes and thus wastes them? do you guys get what i mean, that sounded kind of confusing :S

I choose the shop by checking the option Load Manual Shop
but to use it, you have to make a list of things that are sold in this store, clothing for example, which is what I use the program I made a list of clothes that were to be bought, not always buy because as I said, there are others using AB and the normal reestoquers

I had a question.

If Abrosia finds something that's worth too much and isn't on the SW, does it just set the price of the item in your shop to 0 so you can manually remove it and put it in the TP?

Yes it does... anything over 99999...

...or like you said, it can't find it on Shop Wizard which kind of automatically means; it is rare and valuable.

-_-

2010-06-28 14:16:35 - Random Event: Dr. Sloth has his "associates" take 20% of your Neopoints away to support his next Neopian invasion effort.

At least I lost only 50k or so...

EDIT: What does (0/300) mean in status? I'm used to seeing other numbers. Is that something bad? What does that measure anyway?

Basically, it takes the amount of time that you're spending in the shop (on the settings menu) divided by the average refresh rate. The numerator is how many refreshes you've made and the denominator is how many refreshes total you'll have before switching shops.

I have another question about manual lists. Are shops checked going down the list? For example, if the second and fifth items in my manual list restock at the same time, Abrosia will go after the second one and not the fifth?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I'm using a manual list as well.

First item it sees in the shop. Regardless of placement on list.

May I suggest a new feature for the next version? Add item preference settings based on rarity, profit, or positioning in a manual list. This way, Abrosia will target the rare UB items we want, instead of settling for the r80 placed a little earlier in the shop.

Well, if you want that UB, then add that to the list instead of the r80 item, then you won't have to worry about grabbing that r80 item.

I don't think it will be much a problem, considering the auto trainer is a passive program, though they might conflict with each other when the trainer hops back on for the next course.
