I'm having some weird trouble with Abrosia. It's been working decent lately but today it hasn't been working at all. My refresh speeds are 3.0-7.5. But it takes like 30sec just to actually refresh, visit the shop, and then refresh again. Sometimes it just stops refreshing and visiting all together. My haggle and OCR are default but it takes almost three times longer than the actual OCR to buy the item. I tried to submit a debug file but when I get to step 6 there isn't an HTTPwrapper folder to delete. Any advice on what I should do? I already reinstalled both the required files and Abrosia. But the outcome is still the same.

Go through the steps on a debug file again. Your doing something wrong.

I set the delay to 0.001-0.002. Why would I lie about something like this?

It's fine either way, I can still make about 250k a day even with my horrendous buy times.

You didn't say you set your delay to '.001', you said you set it to '0'.

0 =/= .001

If I use default settings the buy time is ~3.5-4s, and if I set the delays to 0 (for testing purposes... I know it's very risky) the buy time is ~2-2.25s.

He said he set it to '0'.
If he succeeded in changing a setting to '0', and then we would know he wasn't even tinkering with the correct settings box.
If he was messing with the wrong settings box, and then we could direct him to the correct settings box, which may have helped fix his problem.

Feel free to correct me if that reasoning is wrong, I was only trying to help troubleshoot.

He explained that he actually meant 0.001 rather than 0 so there's no point in you telling him that he said 0 and that 0 is not 0.001 after he's explained that.

How does the schedule feature work? I've currently got it to autobuy from 12:08 AM to 2:33 AM on Sunday and it didn't start up at 12:08. If I start it, will it stop at that time?

I'm not sure exactly what happened in your situation, but I've found that if I program it to start at a certain time, it may take 30 seconds - 1 minute before it actually registers that it's time. Cut it a little bit of slack in that way.

You can start it at anytime, and it will stop at the time you tell it. So in your above example, you could manually start it at 12:05 AM, and it would automatically stop itself at 2:33 AM. (You could also start it at 12:10, 12:11, etc. you get my point)

Although there was really no explanation for what he said in his post, you're correct.
Consider my statement retracted.

I'm still kind of having problems; I started it prior to the time I wanted it to start this morning and had it set to stop at 10:45, but it's still going. :S

We're advanced members. We can choose which shops to buy in lulz

before you ask, it's either 500 NON-SPAM posts or a subscription to the site, which is in the top blue bar between item database and chat

Bad luck?
Spend a couple of bucks and get advanced and you can choose better shops.
I mean, you can't leach programs for free and expect great profits O_o

I want to reach 500m post instead of paying (obviously) but really, nothing interests me to much. And new restrictions for non-members?! (I went underground for like a year and a half after my main got frozen, then after I rebuilt got frozen again -_-) I think it's ridicolous! At least let us change the refresh rates!

Why should we? We reward people who contribute to the site, not people who just want to use the programs without giving anything in return. You can always go elsewhere if you don't like it.

It shouldn't close. Make sure it isn't hidden in your taskbar.

I've seen that happen to a couple members so far.

by how much would a proxy slow down how fast items are bought
and does everybody always use proxies when using an AB?

It depends entirely on the individual proxy, there isn't a single right answer to that first question.

For your second question, if you only use one Neopets account and your IP is clean (no previously banned accounts) you might be better off just using your own IP and not a proxy. A lot of people AB on several accounts and use different proxies for each one though, or they have one main on their own IP and AB on side accounts on individual proxies.

Whatever is realistic.. As long as you think you would sit and refresh until you gave up.

I personally wouldn't go over an hour and a half at a time, but I'm sure theres people that do way more.
