This is my first time using an autobuyer, and in about an hour there has been no activity. Still hoping for the best.

Wow, you're damn lucky. I'm jealous :p

If I had a list on, that wouldn't have happened.
Why are lists better, again? :<

Technically it would if you were in the same shop at the same time :p But thats getting a bit petty.
Lists are better because they let you choose your own shop. So you can guarantee you're ALWAYS in a profitable shop.

So you don't spend three hours in tikitack or something.

I'd edit those out of your posts or a nosy person might go searching for a member with all 3 of those items in auctions.xD

Anyway if you can't flog them off in auctions put them on the TP and say you'll beat lowest on TP. If that doesn't work try flogging it off to a reseller (last resort)

Making a list is sort of difficult though. Isn't using only one shop like.. Wouldn't TNT think that's a bit sketchy or something? They see this profile only refreshing one shop.
That and, well..- There are other reasons. Plus if you don't like the shop it's in, can't you just close and reopen it?

Technically yes, but a part of the randomizing of the shop is to also price the items for our database.

While there's no way for us to stop you from doing it, we would appreciate it if you didn't since it's a very rare time you go in a bad shop anyway.

Selling this Hissi Swordsman Coat is impossible.

Wouldn't using the Advanced, "Visit Specific Shop IDs" be better than using a list?

That way you go through multiple shops that are profitable instead of one?

Its pretty obvious you're quite against the concept of using a list so I won't try to press it further; do whatever suits you best. :p
Then again I only tell people to do it from personal experience; my profits increased a lot since starting to use lists (non advanced) and so obviously thats what I'd advocate when people ask for advice.

...I'd just like to ask you though: What seems more suspicious, a user having memorised every single profitable item above a certain profit margin for ten different shops or for just one?

& Making lists is very easy. Did you look at the guide I linked you to before?

Wouldn't using the Advanced, "Visit Specific Shop IDs" be better than using a list?

Its not as if you're actually visiting them all at the same time, it visits one shop then goes to another after a while, etc.
So, not really. I'll explain it this way: Whats more profitable, working ten hours, full time job for $10/hr or working five hours each at two different part time jobs for $10/hr? Obviously you can't exactly determine the profit like that, but yes. (:

No, I agree, I love it going to different shops.. But atm I don't seem to be getting many detections or anything. So I wanted to see if choosing specific shops would pick up the pace a little.
I know i'll stick to ALL shops anyway, more variety means more chance.. Just wanted to check out specifics :)

**Edit** Just read back my previous post. I meant I keep missing all the good restocks.. not the program's fault, I'm just moaning at my lack of patience lol

If you want to choose specific shops, you'll have to use a manual list unless you're Advanced.
Also, I would suggest you to stick to a specific shop, because it makes you look more legit.
Who would be a master and know all the profitable items at say, 20 shops anyway?

why is it. when you miss an item instead of waiting the 5 seconds or whatever it is it does a complete refresh of the shop like a wait time.

its like ocr wait 1 sec
haggle
missed item
wait (what you have set as your refresh rate) 10- 15 seconds
ocr wait 1 sec
haggle

is it a bug or am i just missing something

Select "load a manual shop list" instead of using the lists "provided by the items database"

You get to pick your own shop, only one though.

Its quite straightforward, just load your list of all the items that, if they restock, you want Abrosia to buy.
