Do you need to have a certain amount of NP before you start AutoBuying?
I have about 15,000 NP and I upgraded my shop about 6 times.
When I press start buying an Exception Error comes up, and where it usually says Checking Shops, is blank, as if it's idle...
It only seems to work when I pick what shops I want it to buy from, and even then it only tried (and failed) to buy one item in about an hour and a half.
Am I doing something wrong?

Well you can have any amount of NPs out as you want, but it's better to have more in case you run out of NPs in the middle of ABing/come upon items that are profitable and are >15k o:
&Could it be that your internet connection is just bad at those times or something? o:

And yes attic is restocking at different times... from the 20+ times I saw a restock.. they were all at different times then the timer said

Hum, that's strange o: ~
Maybe when the timer was just off when you loaded the page then

When the main shop ABer manages to grab a handful of things, at what price do I sell them for? Is it the price listed in the log? Or is that number the amount of NP spent buying it? I'm rather confused.
Apologies for any inconvenience,

Use the shop wizard to find out what other people are selling the items for.

Correct. Although, the MANUAL SHOP LIST stuff will still work, just not choosing multiple shops and using the Neocodex lists.
Oh, and I also posted on your intro thread. :)

When an item is bought it'll tell the estimated profit of it-- but like Waser mentioned, you should probably check the SW/TP to check the current selling price

I personally generally AB at the Gift Shop, but you could always just use the item database to see which shops have items with nice profits :p~

As I stated in another thread I am usually ABing stamps.

Daily I make 250k+ just from stamps worth 80k-99k. Then I normally get one or two good ones worth 500k+ alone. My personal stamp collection is looking great and I am making a profit.

Personally the ONLY shop I restock in is for Stamps, I could easily restock at the Coins and Shell shops for good profit but those items are so HTS it would be less profitable and only speed up my restock bans.

Today I have been restocked banned going on 12 hours... It sucks but it gives me plenty of time to work on selling the more expensive stamps I've acquired.

How do you choose individual shops?Isn't that a function for advance members?

Yeah it is a function for advance members to choose individual shops for database ab-ing.

But for non-advanced members, you get to choose a shop to AB in if you load a list. :)
It will no longer be based on the database and will only buy items based on your list, with a higher priority for items listed at the top, I believe.

Any tips on how to use this safely and responsibly or would you say that the program presets are already fine just the way they are?

Yeah, you can run it with the factory settings just fine, but you'll have to read a guide and fiddle with the settings if you want to have a better chance at loot.

Not sure if this is affecting the low count of attempted buys or not:

Like Elindoril already mentioned, the default settings are safe (the programmers wouldn't make the default settings incredibly risky or anything :p~) and if you want to be safer you could increase the times even more although that would make your chances of getting items slimmer

You might want to take a look at the Abrosia FAQ, Abrosia Tutorial, and/or Rikku's ABing Guide

If you're getting a (consistent) error you might have better luck fixing it if you post it in the Bug Tracker instead

I've been getting a different error. Appears everytime Abrosia attempts to buy an item. Still buys correctly though, but sucks not being able to know what was bought.
