Honestly just a screenshot feature would make me happy. Makes bragging on a petpage that much easier... although a RS&Chat feature could be a pretty interesting addition...

If I actually chatted on those damnable neoboards

This is what the planned feature set of Abrosia v1 looks like right now:

- Random event detection.

- Screenshot saver (though I think I will need the help of your default browser for this one).

- RS & Chat Neoboard Auto-Poster (Dual-mode: You can make it automatically report good buys (profit>x) to the rs & chat topic that Abrosia automatically detects, or you can put your own message into a pop-up. Auto-pause of the autobuyer will be an option.)

- Hopefully I'll have tray and audible alerts built-in.

- No RS alerts yet until we can decide on a good medium to have them on. IRC may be moved to old channel #neocodex.

- Bug tracker stuff will be addressed.

- Networked Faerie Quester

Our aim is to make this the most effective autobuyer, not the one packed with the most features (however useless some of them may be). These features are all regarded as being helpful to people

We're still working on Mac compatibility at the moment. Theoretically, it's compatible, but in practice buttons like to move around the form in Mac, weird errors come up, etc... :/

Werent you going to add a feature that limited the most profitable shops based off of post count?

I can just do that remotely (ie. whenever I want). If I do implement it though, I'll let you guys know. :p

Oh man.

So at the push of a button we're all going to end up in Tiki Tac?

If he did move his house would you mess with him?

I tend to avoid large people who can squish me.

TNT should make Captain Jack a shopkeeper.

Anyway, I was thinking, with the Faerie Quest thing... will there also be a notification on when we receive random events and they can be put into our shop/sdb as well?

Either nothing profitable restocked in the shop, or someone else could of grabbed it while Abrosia was waiting to refresh and you missed it.

I have both a shop and a bank account, why isn't it working? Plus, I've had this thing running for an hour now, but still no buys. Help?

This may or may not be a solution, but did you add a PIN to your log in details?

Oh, I forgot to mention, Abrosia v1 will both load and save cookies to Firefox properly.

That means that if you use Firefox before using Abrosia, turn it off, use Abrosia for a bit, and then go back to Firefox you will still be logged in to Firefox. You still won't be able to use both simultaneously though without running the risk of getting logged out.

I have run Abrosia for 3 days with 3 hour intervals with 1 hour break everyday but I didn't restock a single item. I even set the profit to 500nps to test it in the food shop using a list but it didn't rs a single thing. I don't know if there's a problem with my settings or it's just coincidence that the shop rs'd while mine is taking a break. I've also tried to switch the compatiblity settings to my previous OS today but so far it hasn't been buying items also.

I can see the 'personal pricing shop:success' etc fine, the shop seems to be refreshing also(from the bottom left corner where it says XXsec) but it's just isn't buying.

A few possible things I can thing of

I upgraded my OS to windows7 3 days ago too. Is there any problems or that is happening with windows7?
My neopets account is 3 days old. Does it need to be a certain number of days before it can restock? (From what I know, only the rarity is affected)
The Abrosia download on the website somehow got corrupted(resulting in some code not working?)? (is it even possible?)

It's weird how you guys are having problems.

Besides that first log-in hiccup, my copy has been running fine.

I use Vista Home Premium and I run Abrosia as an administrator

2009-09-26 16:15:52 - Bought Mutant Grundo Stamp: 2424 NP
2009-09-26 16:16:02 - Missed Maraquan Charger Stamp: Sold out.
2009-09-26 16:16:04 - Missed Kings Lens Stamp: Sold out!
2009-09-26 16:16:05 - Missed Space Faerie Stamp: Sold out!

I have a suggestion, why not make ABrosia target the most profitable item first, instead of buying a 50k and skipping over the 200k UB ;_;

You are using a manual list, aren't you? If so, I can't make Abrosia fortune-tell what profits are for list items.

If you were running the database, it would be doing this as I just tested it. :p The database has the Space Faerie, then Mutant, then Kings Lens, then Maraquan in descending order of profit and your log has them unsorted, hence why I think you're using a manual list.

I've personally taken the time to make my own manual list from the item database here for Magic.

Took a while, but well worth it X3

No catches yet, due to the low post restrictions, but I still have faith :)

Well i mean, all my lists are made from the item databases, you just go to restock lists, then simple, then copy paste :p

Why bother though when the database can do it all for you anyway? :p
