That's quite the glitch, and it almost was a serious problem.
ABrosia bought a UB item for me. When it didn't find the item in the wiz, I'm assuming that it priced the item at -5 (resulting in a listing price of 5).
I could have lost a half-million item if I weren't vigilant. I'll be pegging this onto the appropriate tracker thread in Neon, since it's the methodology used for ABrosia.

soooo does Abrosia keep pricing items for the DB even when you click stop and it says Abrosia Stopped?
Not anymore it shouldn't.
SLink cut out the "pricing while inactive" thread to keep people from pricing 24/7.
Final answer is "I don't think so"

Yes it does. But if you log into neopets with another program or something, it will stop.
The thread stays alive until the program dies. Sl made it so it will stop when the scheduler stops it though.

You can't until you're an Advanced member. So when i go into settings and try and change weither or not i will buy from one shop or all of them, the box is not highlighted. I've tried fiddling with the settings to see if anything would change it but couldnt get it to work. Can anyone give me a hand? I rather not buy from all the shops

1)You need to make 500 posts and be here for a month to change settings like speed, and shops.
2)Buying from more then one shop is a good thing. Makes you look legit.

Not only that, but staying in a very popular and profitable shop for hours at a time is just yelling "FREEZE ME TNT!", switching shops every 45 minutes isn't even that bad, you still have a good chance of getting a profitable shop to sit in and make some dough.2)Buying from more then one shop is a good thing. Hmm... I been trying this out, it started up pretty good, but it's been hours in the main shops and it hasn't snagged a thing! Faerie quests are also a bit of a nuisance when they pop up. Oh well, patience is a virtue I suppose ;]
Faerie Quests are easy .
Just use our Item Database and visit an owner listed on the Item. Its Simple
Dont run it more then 5 hours a day. Dont worry. It will buy things!

Ah, thanks
I'm pretty new to "breaking the rules" but I know I shouldn't abuse this. I couldn't figure out how to set an HTTP proxy earlier, so I just logged off, cleared all of my cookies and used a neighbor's wifi to have a different IP, well good thing I figured that out 'cause it was getting to be a pain. I noticed that using the proxy I could be logged in on two accounts at once which = awesome ;]
I guess it just hasn't been buying because the database is still growing, correct? In any case, better some than none and better safe than sorry. I will NOT be running this while I sleep

Most items buyable are priced in the DB. Most likely your not catching a restock. They are random, so it might take some time to find one. Others might come and be below your Profit level, Leaving it at 5k should work perfectly.
As for using a proxy. Its under Web Settings.
Using a different IP to run the program on the same account = bad.
You should continue to use the same Ip for each account so you look like its from 1 computer, and its all legit.

Yeah I suppose I'm just down on luck No matter.
And yea, I have it set so the program uses the Proxy on the ABing account, while I just browse normally with my usual IP on my normal account. I just hate having my computer rendered useless, and World of Warcraft isn't fun when you are playing by yourself

Been using this program and it works very well I must say. I was just wondering what the format for the Manual List was. Think you could help me out?
Each item on its own line.

So for some reason it priced one of my unbuyable items at 750 NPs. Luckily I caught it before anyone bought it, but it must have been up there for an hour or so. Any idea what could have caused this? I highly doubt that there was another on the wizard priced at the time at such a low price.
No ideal why it does this. Shadow will have to look into this . Are there any other items with names close to that one?

I guess to be safe just have the AB store it in your shop without pricing? ;x

Yeah, seems the wizard found a price that was lower in the shop..
Is it possible, and will this change the status of that UB?

When I use a proxy, the program just sits refreshing in the shop, it doesn't haggle it doesn't do anything. But when I take the proxy off, and use my neighbor's wireless, it works just fine. Maybe it might be the proxy server I'm using, because the previous one made the program crash in general and I had to re-install.
How odd o.o
