Something interesting I noticed when using the built in HTTP proxy function in the AB is that it stops... working, kinda?

When I use a proxy, the program just sits refreshing in the shop, it doesn't haggle it doesn't do anything. But when I take the proxy off, and use my neighbor's wireless, it works just fine. Maybe it might be the proxy server I'm using, because the previous one made the program crash in general and I had to re-install.

Lol yeah. If the Proxy is bad, our wrapper will just time out repeated and dont actually get to do anything.

this program seems to pull up so many random events! i almost find it odd. if i restock manually i rarely get any random events. but when i use the AB my info panel is lit up with random events and i have tons of codestones in my inventory. oh well two programs for one :]

No ideal why it does this. Shadow will have to look into this . Are there any other items with names close to that one?

I guess to be safe just have the AB store it in your shop without pricing? ;x

I need to know your pricer settings to be able to fix it. What were they?

Pricing Mode: Lowest
Subtract Fixed Amnt. of NP: 750
Remove Outlier Prices, 40%
5 prices
3 attempts if finding price failed

I've been trying to use it for about an hour now and have manged to purchase absolutely nothing. I'm not sure if i am doing anything wrong, or if I am just being impatient lol. I even changed to setting to make only a 500NP profit on the items, still nothing.

Splish, iargue was referring to the shop list. You just put every item on its own line in a notepad file and the ab will buy those.

Yeah...

Go to the Item Database, select Restock lists, give it the profit you want. Take each of those items and put just the name on its separate line. Save it as a txt file and then load it up.

I don't think I am being impatient been running for over 5 hours, hasn't bought anything, and my ststus just stays as "Visiting Shop ( )", never refreshes or anything (even after 45 minutes)...sigh...

If the program doesn't refresj, I think you need to restart the program
But if the program do work well, I think it's a hard luck for you..

LOL if its not refreshing you're definitely not being impatient. Have you tried restarting abrosia?

I sure have! Even uninstalled and re-installed...if you are a premium member does it effect the way the program runs? That's the only thing I can think of!

You mean Advanced Member? Premium member sounds like one of those things that you have to pay for at other sites... lol

But yes, being Advanced Member changes the way the program runs in that if you're in networking mode, you can pick your shops instead of having it randomly go find a shop. Also, you can't change your waiting times past a minimum wait time.

lol I meant a premium member on Neopets, I have the portal thingy and all that jazz. I am thinking it is the problem, I used another account and it worked just fine...

This might be it.

Currently all programs work on standard skin, and have some functionality on non-standard skins... but it might serve you well to try switching to the standard skin and seeing where that takes you

Whats the error message when you exit?

This happened to me before D:
The proxy I was using was no good ... so I'm not currently using one ; Maybe that should do it?

A very good possibility. The ab is still dependent on connection speed, so running through your own internet will give you that edge over the proxy. The only drawback is the loss of privacy, which isn't so bad unless you have multiple accounts.

I think TNT are starting to cut down on multiple refreshing even though I'm only using the 8 second refresh. I've played the Aber for two hours before and have never been restock banned, but suddenly I've run it for an hour, in the super fun happy ice shop (the aber had randomly put it there and kept it there despite being in the chocolate shop and clothing shop for no more than ten minutes, but the ice shop was there for 40 minutes), and yeah suddenly I got restock banned, and I haven't used the program all day.
