We've all I'm sure at some point in our lives have seen a dud scary movie.
Or a movie that leaves you utterly in awe and makes you lock you door and keep the lights on at night.

Name 'em here.

I'm pretty sure that the movie that put me in awe was Saw (the first one). Truly terrifying when it first came out. xD

Bad: All of the horror films that base around horny ass teenagers.

Good: No one favourite in particular will be my excuse. To be honest I can't remember any good ones

Agreed. People should stick to porn. Ughh...

Good: The Evil Dead, Dead Alive, [Rec], & Final Destination.
I think of more later. :3

Some pornos might qualify as horror films.
Those from the 80's to be specific. Posted Image

True, it is very gory.
I remember Dead Silence! It was a good movie, I enjoyed it as well.
I agree with what you said about the Blair Witch Project. It was just a shitty movie. Posted Image

I'm one of those people that thinks Paranormal Activity was scary as hell :x
Anything that is up to your imagination to make it scary, it fucking scares the hell out of me because I have a crazy imagination.

Insidious was scary as fuck too.

And anything to do with exorcisms. CREEPYYYY

I only think the first Paranormal Activity was scary. The second one not so much.
I have yet to see Insidious. Posted Image
The Last Exorcism has to be my favorite out of all the recent exorcism movies. You're right, they're all creepy. In fact, anything that deals with Church/religion as primary plot in a Horror film is bound to be creepy. Posted Image

I've watched a lott of horror movies and tbh, there aren't that many that have really made me scared. The Last Exorcism and Insidious are probably the best I've seen in a long time. The two Paranormals were pretty good but like mentioned above Blair Witch was disappointing.

Not a huge horror fan myself, but to name a few: The Shining (more of a thriller though), and Ju-On

I love horror movies. I´m just extremely picky with them. I find most of them purely entertaining, but never actually good. :/

The Orphanage is another good one. I would include Pan´s Labyrinth, but that would be at most just a thriller.

Loved Pan's Labyrinth, even if it wasn't pure horror. Thrillers end up being better made than horror films anyway :p

I just watched Insidious. I'm quite disappointed. I expected it to be scarier. Posted Image
I did like the ending however.

Paranomal Activity frightened the everloving crap out of me and made me unable to sleep for a weekend. Well, the original. Saw Session 9 with a few people, that was freaking stupid. A good two hours of life wasted. Something I can't remember the name, maybe called The Ward? Now THAT was an interesting one. I was startled by it. Not your usual type of horror though...

The original?...
Like the first one?
Honestly for a cam-corder movie I'd stick with [Rec], basically what Quarantine ripped their whole thing off from. The only problem that it is in Spanish. That's the scariest movie I've ever seen, and I'm an avid horror movie watcher. I'll add Jaws, cause that freaked the shit out of me when I was little, The Ring because that's the only PG-13 American horror film that I didn't find to be ridiculously stupid, and The Fly, cause of its creativity. :3

The Exorcism... original, with the new scenes added in. I don't really watch scary movies, I don't like them. :(

I thought Paranormal Activity was boring as hell. I couldn't wait for everyone to die.
"Rear Window" is a movie that gives me chills just thinking about it.
