I remember restocking all the Neopox Pizza's and Magic Cookies and sell them so fast. I could easily spend the whole day restocking in Pharmacy and sniping the cheaper ones on the Wizard to sell them for 5 NP more.

Today it is harder than ever to earn gold, it's because neopets have filtered out all the noobs and your left with competitive players

Legit restocking is a total nightmare . 

 

I don't think I would cheat with Score sender tho.

I had a lot of fun playing legit for the first year or so after the Super Shop Wiz came out. It was worth the $7 a month to be able to see the average price of paint brushes. I would refresh all day and not get banned because I was searching averages, not actual shops. As soon as anything popped up just hop on the regular wiz, boom. It was just challenging enough to get the adrenaline rushing but it wasn't futile enough to be frustrating. The pets I had at the time would be considered "high-end UCs" today. Apparently that feature was too good though, because eventually they took it away. That was like 6 years ago. Neo hasn't been as much fun since then.

Yeah i did it for a long time until another company bought neopets and made the rules even more strict.

I actually surprisingly legit, never actually ran any programs. Did try to horde hanso charisma charms and that backfired with the release of the anagram swords making the full dark blocker not as useful as i would've hoped. Mostly made money from stock market for the past 7 years to finally scrounge up 30 million

I remember I thought I was rich having 1M in my bank account, I painted my pet with my FFQ. (back then i didn't even know what that quest was so I painted my Xweetok faerie, lol)

I don't even remember how I managed to have 1M in my BA. Oh and I paid the Secret Lap Map with my nps, I was SO happy like crazy omg

I remember playing 100% legit and I had 200k in 6 months and I thought that was a lot. And it was also the time I thought a 125 hp BD pet was really strong.

 

On my last account (before it was frozen), I earned a few hundred millions in 5 years (with most coming from my latter years) with a 2500 hsd bd pet and neo finally became fun. Oh and I remember legit rsing as well. Such a pain when I could be doing other stuff.

I kinda remember it but what I remember most is getting frozen even though you're legit. That's a feeling that I will never be fond of

I've been playing neo for a Looooong Time. I played legit up until I found this website, like a year ago or however long ago. And It has saved me a lot of time.

I hated stalking the auctions for snipes, I hated hitting F5 every 3 seconds and then click type click and not getting items half the time. It for me was to the point where I just went around buying neopoints from websites so I didnt have to spend 10 hours a day to rs a few things, And then again I've been frozen twice for legit restocking so I sad eff this. And here I am.

 

I do remember though as a young boy when Electric pbs were 4 k and magical gold chomby plushies were 5k and a baby pb was 200k in the hidden tower and such, that Somehow some way I had earned like 600k and bought all this stuff. I was reselling this like a genuis at age 12 and was frozen for trading a Lost desert pb worth 100k for something worth more, and hurting the economy. I cried for days I tell you! DAYS!

 

Now I hate playing legit, and when I'm sitting in trade chat i often wonder, hmm. How many of these guys to i probably see post on codex lol

Yeah, I spent so much time with neopet games to get very few in return (this was back 7+ years ago).

Oh god, I do remember... I had gotten a Baby PB for my birthday and didn't like Baby pets... so I posted on the boards asking if anyone wanted to buy. I got an offer of a Magical Starry Lupe Plushie if I remember correctly... He told me it was worth a lot more at the time so I immediately accepted it (gullible, haha) I then thought since it was a toy, I let my pet play with it and... yeah...that is when I went and downloaded random programs off the internet and got my account stolen Here I am now years later.

That's when I finally figured that if they were going to ice my accounts anyway, I may as well cheat and enjoy myself instead of working forever for something I'm never going to get.

I did play legit for a little while. 

It's not too hard, but it's not exactly fun. 

 

I've still managed 1m in the first week on all of my legit accounts to buy the lab map.

I played legit for 8 years on and off (mostly off) and not at all the past 2 years. Went on a few months ago and wondered if there were any safe-ish ways to cheat. Add in Google, and here I am.

I think that's the tipping point for most people, when you get a good legit main iced, you think, screw it, I'll just cheat.

As much as at the occasional time I feel guilty about it as I was in a legitimate person's shoes once, I was wrongfully iced. I lost a lot of progress. My way of dealing with it

I was legit once. I got purged. I think my bitterness stems from that.

I play neopets since 2007 and stopped being legit a year ago. Before I used programs I got iced two times, once for playing flash games on my side and once for playing key quest against myself lol, and I thought earning 20k a day was much..
