Here's my favorite song as of right now:
if you can't bare to listen to it (you wont offend me) here are some lyrics in it:
"all you mother fuckin bitches suck my dick"
"i'mma fuck yo bitch nigga, i'mma fuck ya hoe nigga"
"i'm fuckin on that bitch, and then I make her strip"
"fuck a bitch in her face, like a boss"
"give me head like a hoe, like a pro, like I know you a hoe"
"b-town boy with them tiny pants just like a faggot"
I'd like to hear other's opinions on this. I've felt this way and argued this way for years. In most real life arguments, I get shut down with "Oh this is so compelling coming from a white heterosexual male." I can't really say that statement is equally as sexist or racist as some of the songs I listen to, but it is frustrating for my opinion to not be valid on the subject. If someone HAD to agree with EVERYTHING the artist thought or believed, they would have absolutely no music to listen to. I hear people making these arguments at music festivals, when they're spending 200$+ supporting these "sexist" musicians when most of their lyrics are just fun or satire/hyperbole. Do you guys think these type of lyrics have any real danger of promoting serious racism or sexism?
