I'm bored and playing Habitarium and it got me to thinking about other people's habis and their strategies. I want to make friends who love the game as much as I do.
I'm at level 25 right now, almost 26. I only play Monday through Friday during school because I have three computer classes, 1st, 3rd, and 4th, and usually have nothing better to do than sit on Habitarium. I only have 14 p3's out of the 28 I can have. I had almost a full habi but then I went on spring break and neglected it and everyone died xD
How many eggs do you get a day? I have four nesters right now and I can get them to lay about 2-3 eggs each in a day so I can get 8-12 eggs everyday. I normally just harvest them though because they produce more nesters and soldiers than workers and it pisses me off >
I also have six soldiers even though I think most people keep less. But I like to raid so I send half my soldiers out and keep half to protect my buildings, resources, etc.
What about you?

I run my habi 24/7, getting around 150k daily using the gem glitch. I always keep 2-3 soldiers, not more. Also I find the game extremly boring, but the NP part is sweet.

I'd run mine 24/7 if I could but I can't because I don't have my own computer at home. But I do pretty well for my situation >.<

You can always check out Mishatu's Guide to Habitarium if you are really struggling figuring it out. She did really well with that guide I think, just be sure to +Rep her if it helps you.

I have 3 soldiers and 9 nesters (3 of each species). I just recently returned to the game because of Mishatu's guide.

I still remembered when I first started playing I didn't have any larnikins at all. I played from level 1 through 50 with only mootix and pinchits. (I think the starter larnikin nester died or something). Didn't even knew they existed. Then when I returned to game a long time after, all my petpetpets died and the professor gave me the starter ones again, I was surprised to see a red fat petpetpet. Lol. Quitted again because of the max storage and I'm to lazy to buy/delete/gift items.

Now I'm playing again because I need legit NPs on my main. xD

Edit: Also recently I realised helping my friends don't earn me my 150 exp anymore. Anyone the same?

xD I love the larnikins. I think they're cute little beans :3 Since I play slowly, it's taking forever to get to level 50 but once I get there, it'll be so satisfying!

Pinchits are my favourite but I have all 3 kinds in my habi. If I ever get bored, I may just hatch pinchits and make my habi invaded by 46 of them

I like the mootix best. Looks like each species have their own fans.

Talking about "strategies", I like placing larnikins into red houses, pinchits into yellow houses, and mootix in the blue/normal coloured houses. xD

You should be getting the XP when it updated every 30 seconds, they really should show the total xp gain at 50 instead of that stupid purple diamond.

I like pinchits too! XD They're so cute. But I don't have a pinchit nester anymore so I wont have any once my pinchits die :[ I always end up with tons of larnikins though and I don't know why cause it's not like I do that on purpose xD

I always thought I stopped getting that exp I gain when I help friends at level 50.

Well since it takes 3 hours for an egg to mature....

24 / 3 = 8.

So 8 eggs a day.

It doesn't take my egg's three hours to mature. It takes like 45 minutes to maybe an hour.
But I mean like, does a nester get to a point in the day where the guy's like "Hey bro your nester been poppin out too many eggs, give that bitch a rest." Of course not in those words....

Same here. I stopped helping them. I shall see if it increases my exp during the 30s update.

Nope, they will always lay new eggs if you keep removing the mature eggs from the nests.

When their level of energy reach about 1/10 of the total professor will tell you they're too tired to lay eggs though. xD

Oh yeah, I've gotten that before. But when I checked, the nester wasn't even that tired! I was like pffft slacker, get back on that nest and give me more eggs you lazy jerk.

I like to run my Habi 24/7 as much as possible (can't quite do it some days because I drag my laptop everywhere).

I'm not particularly fond of raiding and will most likely unfriend anyone who raids me I like keeping my Habi intact (except for storages. those can sit and wither. They'll still hold resources).

I don't think nesters take 3 hours, even when just beginning. They can tire, however, and I'm still trying to figure out how. I will flip to my habi and my larnikin nester will be perfectly fine, but my pinchit and mootix are begging for a nap. It's weird as crap.

I love my Habitarium so god damn much. It makes me so happy in the morning when I wake up to a full board of purple gems. xD
I have all Mootix - 5 nesters, 5 soldiers, and 35 workers. Most of the time I have it running except on days where it gets really hot and I'm afraid for my laptop.
I suppose my favorite part is how I have it set up/ decorated. It's just so damn cute.

I have lots of NC stuff, which I know is normally detrimental to your Habitarium, however my i7 processor makes a whole world of difference. It runs so fast and smooth and just omfg amazing. <3

Anyways, as far as my set up - I keep a total of 15 storages. 5 are permanent because I've painted them, and the other 15 are switched out once they are level 3 and full. I have 4 fully upgraded houses and 2 hospitals which is more than enough to house all of my workers. I have 1 barracks for my 5 soldiers, and 1 more house for my nesters even though I never seem to need it because they never get tired or hungry.
I have 10 nests for easy egg harvesting, and..... that's about it.

Oh. And I have a ton of mushroom towers so nobody dares raid me. ;D
