i started playing again last month. now i always let it run all day, checking back every now and then. i am lvl 50 now, have six soldiers and six nesters and two workers. i always let a lot of food lying around, since that keeps enemies coming, which my soldiers can kill and then i get gems. i also sell all the eggs, so i get my nps for purplegems really quickly. (after you got lvl 50 you get purple gems, which are worth 500np each).
i thought that i will loose interest as soon as i get level 50. but i didn't. i still really like my habi ^^

You can't sell them, but you can discard them for 200 exp each. Currently no way to transfer eggs between accounts.

Any level. That's how I levelled up so fast. I always had about 20 nesters pumping out eggs.

Now that I have decided to start playing again after a couple months of ignoring it, I have one Mootix nester and the bitch won't lay a nester egg.

lol I hate when they do that! Mine seem to only lay more and more soldiers. It's really frustrating!

Store like 2 of each if you want to keep all 3 kinds, and discard the rest until you have to hatch the stored ones to replace dead nesters.

Yeah I have a nester and a soldier of each kind in my inventory thing :]

I like to have 2 soldiers and nesters of each kind, then fill the rest of 3 pages with workers. That way I don't have to freak out if my nesters are being crappy for a week and don't give me a soldier or nester I need (but if they do it again, then I have to worry. Which never happens.)

I only store soldiers and workers if I won't be on neopets for some time, so I can replace all dead P3s when I will be back. Otherwise, I just keep around 9 nester eggs in my bag.

oops, sorry, for the confusion. yeah, discarding them and getting xp, that's what i was talking about. it really is the best way to lvl up and also to get nps later. i also didn't know that for a while and also had a shitton of eggs in my inventory. well and i discarded them all and made like ten levels xD

You need to discard the egg on the habi screen.
If you discard it in your inventory it doesn't give any exp I believe.

I totally agree with you. It is such a pain to carry all of them 1 by 1, then carry back to their old positions when they recovered..

I got locked out 5 times which means I leveled my god damn habi to god damn level 50 five times.

If I had to sit and watch the damn thing all day every day, I'm sure I'd go mad. But since I just let the buggers do their thing, I don't really care Just gotta make sure they keep doing their work (crack the whip a few times), and let it run.
