Although I can't imagine Codex making a much revenue from this, I can see it hurting the activity of the member usergroup. I guess that anyone who hates them enough will always be able to use adblock if they want to.
I would imagine the admins will be monitoring the progress of it and would make any necessary adjustments.

Why? ADs are meant to be clicked. Right?
All you're really doing is stealing from the advertisers and giving to the publishers. Just click an ad if it interests you.

I'm not sure what this post is trying to say. We have had ads on Neocodex in the past. We've just added them again and only for members and guests. How times change.

Have we ever had paid membership and ads at the same time? Not that I can recall of.
It makes sense to have the adds. 54 users and 100+ guests. Make them pay somehow

The words "bribe" and "corruption" come to mind.Dear god that's brilliant! I'll propose this idea to pyro and see what he thinks... Maybe $1 for your avatar and $3 for signature customization rights. $5 for custom user title or buy the whole package for $8
What do you think?

I'd pay for the custom user title, didn't even realize that was an option

Do the ads even generate any revenue with ad block turned on?Why don't you already have that installed in the first place? It's the first browser extension I install (not anymore since Chrome does all that newfangled syncing and shiet).
Sometimes I enjoy the advertisements about how I can enlarge my penis and/or boobs
As a reminder to never order them again?

Nope. If someone wants to use AdBlock, then they should. You shouldn't click on an ad if you aren't really interested in it. No one wins in that situation .Do the ads even generate any revenue with ad block turned on?

As Hydrogen said, they don't, because adblockers don't work my making ads "invisible"; instead, they go right to the root and prevent the browser from even connecting to the ad-serving URLs.
