I have nagged Slinky into letting us bring back user bars! Yay! But we don't have all of the old user bars, and have added a couple different ranks since then. Boo. So, I am holding a contest to allow our wonderful and creative members a chance to design the new ones for us!

The Rules:

• All bars must be 95x20 pixels.
• You must create a unique bar that includes the title of each of the member ranks below.
• Entries will be accepted from NOW until 7 AM NST (GMT -8) on June 1, 2012.
• Please do not tell people which entry is yours or ask them to vote for you. Allow them to make up their own mind.
• You MAY vote on your own entry.
• Entries must be in .jpg, .png or .gif format.
• Upload your bars to an anonymous image host (imageshack.us, tinypic.com, etc) not to photobucket or deviantart or something that is easily stalkable traceable.
• PM your entries to ME, I will compile them all and hold a voting topic after the entry period expires.
• Since some of you play Neopets and some do not, I have no idea for prizes except the warm fuzzies you will get every time you see your bars under someone's avatar on the boards.

That bar will be given to the winner of the contest when the thread is made announcing the winners. When the next winners are chosen, the bar will be taken from the previous winner and given to the new winner.

So kind of like a trophy that only the current holder gets to hold.

This is awesome! Sorry, onlyme, I will be too busy getting sand in my eyes to make anything, but I'm really looking forward to see what everyone comes up with. I am having to rub my nipples to contain my excitement.
Instead of only the current SOTW champion having the special bar, couldn't you award it to everyone who's won first place? I'm feeling greedy!

Perhaps a Former SOTW Champ and SOTW Champion user bars?

I agree with Punk about the SOTW user bar. Instead of swapping it around maybe have it for every winner or maybe you get it after a certain amount of wins?

I was thinking more along the lines of just having 'SOTW CHAMP' and then, like the trophies for MPic and LC etc when you win multiple times, add a 'x2', 3, 4 and so on. Just a thought. I guess it depends on the amount of room that would take up and if you can have the userbar + normal text after it.

also, do BANNED members get a title? (personally, for aesthetics i think they should)
