We have raised the minimum posts required to see the Trading Post to 5, so if you cannot see it, that is probably the reason for now.

It's great how they both get to 5 posts just for that, doubt they will ever post again.

Should be 25 posts while the TP access requirements are down :S 5 won't help the situation we had earlier :(

I still stand by my suggestion of 100 posts.

Not everybody comes here to be an active poster, they come here to trade their goods and nothing more, making them post 100 times isn't going to bring in any more active users.

On the contrary, I feel it would actually bring a LOT more active users. Nip the spammers by hiding all non-contributive posts and by the time they hit 100 posts they are more likely to actually stay active. It would be really beneficial in the long run.

yeah 100 posts is a bit excessive. 25 seems to be the norm anyways on most other sites. Anyway, lets hope the guys can fix the TP validating issue soon. As Elindoril said, not everyone is keen to stay and chat. Its just how they roll.

Cant be open to advance members automatically? I search throughout the forums multiple times a day but i rarely post.

Nvm, 5 posts isnt that much to begin with anyway.

it should be open to you now. You have 5 posts (which i believe is the minimum at this stage). If you have any issues seeing the TP section, PM and Admin and they should be able to look into it for you.

I disagree. With such high requirements people are more likely to say it's not worth the trouble and go somewhere else.

Some of our super active traders that have been members for months or even years have less than a few hundred posts. Not everyone comes here to socialize.

However the selling/buying subforums can still be accessed separately...

+Rep for pointing that out and not keeping it a secret so the admin can fix it.

Considering Ive been a member for about 2 years and an advanced member for 6 months, and I dont even have 200 posts, I agree that 100 post minimum is excessive.

I love neocodex, Im on here daily, but rarely have anything worthwhile to contribute to discussions.

Lol. I dont know why I dont talk, though a lot of it has to do with the fact I dont talk about ABing or AOB or my level or experience with cheating because I dont want to jinx myself. ;.;
