The family uses them for xmas ornaments, and I've never been able to close one. It's just impossible.Damn, we use those bins (well the 4 litre versions) at work for components.... ugh i hate them with a passion -_-

Yeah when they're new, they're not so bad, but like the ones we have at work, they've been used that much and tossed around the place/damaged, that they are near on impossible to close too.

I've got a rad graphic for that too!I use a small and similar bin for my lego blocks.
Old storage things in general, ughh. Like those decades-old tupperware boxes that refuse to take their lids.Yeah when they're new, they're not so bad, but like the ones we have at work, they've been used that much and tossed around the place/damaged, that they are near on impossible to close too.
LOL her topic is not turning out at all how she expected.

My favorites are the snap-top with the lid hinged on. I always lose it or something when it's separate.I hate these things. I like the snap-top kind.

Or leave it on the floor, step on it, and crack it.

Or leave it upside-down on the floor, step on it, crack it, and bloody your carpet.

Yup and yup.Or leave it upside-down on the floor, step on it, crack it, and bloody your carpet.
I dunno why I don't replace these sorts of things with better ones, they're so cheap. Emotional attachment? ;pBleh. We got shipment in these when I worked at Rite Aid. The ones we had weren't difficult to close, but they were beaten up!
