Out with the old engine (5.0L V8 308ci with 185KW (248HP) power output)


In with the new one (for a test fit before taking the car to the spray booth). This is a 6.2L LS3 from a current model VE HSV Clubsport (aussie muscle) (power output of 317kW (425hp)

When I move down to Arizona I'm gonna be helping a friend with his car too. It's a nice ass Supra, but I'm not a car person to be perfectly honest so I can't tell you the year or specs or shit like that. But, it'll be cool to be working on a nice ass car.

I feel much more at home in this thread.

We just got a pool table yesterday and stayed up until 1:00 drinking beer and playing pool. It's a crappy starter table but still a solid investment.

On beer, I will drink just about anything. I love Killians, Bass, and Shiner Bock the best. If I have to drink a pissbeer my favorite is Miller High Life or Modelo Especial (they're practically identical). I have had some awesome microbrews; there was an oatmeal brew I had in Chattanooga once that I have been trying to find an equivalent to for years with no success.

I bought a Kawasaki ZZR 250, 2001 with stupidly low mileage, intact factory body kit and 80%+ tread on the tyres... Turns out the old guy bought it for his wife, she decided it wasn't her thing and never rode it again.

I heard there were beers in this thread.

Now I may be biased because I had a wonderful time in their brewery and the owners are extraordinarily nice people, but my #1 will probably always be Victory. Partially because of the memories associated with it, partially because they have a tendency to put a lot of herbal/floral notes in their brews.

I'll probably indulge in Headwaters this Thirsty Thursday since I'm reminded of it.
