Imagine that you bought the complete rights and lawful documents stating that you own Neopets Inc. and all its lower constituents.

Your first whim is to completely remove one aspect of Neopets just because you felt like it. No logical reasoning is needed to back your claim.

I would destroy the NC Mall. So much focus is put on that thing that it lessened the quality of everything else. I don't mind customization as long as it doesn't prevent "good" content such as plots from being delayed.

Also I feel bad for people who think they enjoy buying NC on a regular basis to catch up to the hype and hip. I wouldn't feel bad putting an end to their misery by closing the NC Mall, but letting them keep whatever they bought.

It's not so much what I would obliterate, but what I would change for the better:

- Give customer support a kick up the ass or hire more staff. Never responding to emails about hacked accounts is ridiculous.
- Change the chat filters to be not so ridiculously strict.
- Add the option to unconvert pets for a set amount of NC (I wouldn't get rid of NC, it's a clever moneymaking method).

Find the people who responded with robot-like replies to my tickets about my old account, then personally fire them.

-Better Ticket system so you wouldn't need to wait 12 months for a response that says it's been too long to get an answer.
-Fix NC Mall Box need: Put some kind of machine where you can trade a couple NC items for boxes or some other system (possibly 25nc boxes) or even have Gift Box Caps available year round.
-Revamp the Battledome and start working on some battle plot with some nice avatars thrown in there.
-Add to the defenders of neopia challengers, maybe start a new one.
-Take off ridiculous filters on 18+ users (sure most kids will lie about their age anyway, but my new lawyerbot would make sure my ass is covered xD)
-Do something about UC pet availability because it's very difficult for newer players (even older ones that don't have one) to get their hands on them. Possibly something non-tradeable.
-Instead of releasing a bunch of new shitty colors actually release some of the new colors (Wraith/Transparent) to more species.
-Create more neopoint wearables so people who can't afford NC or don't wish to buy it can still have a nice selection.
-Have a separate response team/ticket system for people who are CGed so that you can keep their pets being transferred away, or traded off.
-Increase amount of neopoints you can bid on Auction/Trade Post or possibly have a separate area for high end trades/auctions (also have the option of pinning this area for safety).
-Try to increase account safety.
-Add 5th pet spot to loyal user perk (younger users would have the option to purchase premium if they wanted this feature earlier) & create more loyal user perks.



I think I've probably thought about this scenario too much.

The neopoints and absolutely everything other then the games itself. maybe then, they will start coming out with better games like they did before

There's so so much that should change.

* Events that require problem solving instead of time
* The ability to switch between UC and new art
* Create UC-style art for the new colors
* Loyal user perks
* Eliminate forum filters for users 18+
* Delete accounts/pets that are 5+ years old to recirculate names
* A way to trade in NC items to the mall for something different, e.g. you can submit 3 unwanted NC items for 1 random item
* Gift boxes are always stocked in the NC store
* More NP wearables for people who cannot afford NC

+ Option to decide if you want to customize Pet or not, if not the Pet is UC
+ So you can create an UC or a normal Pet and all old Colours are available not only a few UC, which means new colours gets a redraw
+ NC available for NP, similiar to the Subeta System. You can buy NC Vouchers and can sell them on the Site
+ No Boxes required to trade NC Items, you can now sell them in your Shop
+ Shop Price limit up to 1 million, all over 1 million is UB. No limit in the Trading Post
