ahh valorous did you recently change something with valorsuite? after updating by itself It has been running great for me for 1-2 weeks, but now it gets stuck on 'downloading updates'...

I have never been able to reproduce this without holding shift. The software is deployed across testing machines from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with a core 2 duo and 2gb of ram to dual xeons and over 512gb of ram and I can't reproduce this reported error. My frustration is as great at yours.
Try starting the software without your hands on your keyboard. If it still does it then try this:

If it still persists then I would have to use RDP or TeamViewer to start the software on your computer so I can fix this. PM me if you wish to explore this option.
