I've just started watching it back in Sept and I've watched all the new ones up to the most recent.
I must say I've never gotten so quickly obsessed over something as quickly as this x_x
I really want to watch the older Doctor episodes- but worried the bad quality would kill it for me lol

Who's your favorite doctor in the 'new' series? The newer episodes made 11 my new fave XD

Different styles of actor though. Matt Smith has grown on me a lot to be honest, but I'd still probably prefer David Tennant.

David Tennant is my favorite by far! I don't like very much the newer series (with Matt Smith) to be honest, I think the show changed its style too much

I like the playfulness of Matt Smith- He's got this Senile old man mixed with a five year old. They all portray pain and loneliness so well though. I think David Should've had a longer run in the series though :\

Christopher I do think does need some love- His subtleties are amazing

I know, right? I feel bad there's only one season with him.

Don't feel bad, he signed on for the paycheck figuring it would bomb. He appeared in the pilot and was stuck until the end of the season when they found David Tennant to take over for him.

I love Dr. Who :whistling:

I don't have a favorite Doctor, because I haven't seen them all yet. I'm working on it, though.

Love Doctor Who! I've even been in the TARDIS. My favorite Doctor is the 8th—the TV movie is pretty good, but his audio plays are amazing. McGann really should have gotten a shot at the TV series, he would have been brilliant. From the reboot, I love Tennant, and from the older episodes, Tom Baker (the 4th Doctor).

I'm probably alone in completely hating Matt Smith, River Song, and to a lesser extent, Amy. I only watch the new series so as to keep up. Can't wait until Steven Moffat passes the series on to a new show runner.

He said he didn't want to be typecast iirc and I don't blame him for that, I hate it when I see actors that I love getting typecast so I don't see them in other roles :(

He's so underrated, I miss his sass.

Eccleston is definitely underrated, but I don't feel bad for him. He made the choice to only do one season.

I hated Rose, though. She's such an annoying character. Deep down, she's this horrible, selfish person and she's made out to be super important for no reason. My favorite companion is Donna.

Catherine. Not bovvered. Tate.

When I started watching the new Doctor Who episodes I first thought I wouldn't like Tennant when he replaced Eccleston and then I thought I wouldn't like Smith when he replaced Tennant. Same with the companions.

Currently I love Matt Smith although David Tennant is still my absolute favourite. It's just such a shame that they partnered him with that Martha character for such a long time, I can't stand her. Not too crazy about Amy Pond either but Rory was nice and I liked River. Donna must be the best one so far. As for this new one, "the girl who died"... a bit too chipper/perky so far but we'll see.
