Hi everyone,

Abrosia has been working very smoothly, which is great :)

I've set up a Neotracker account so that I can keep track of my buys and determine what shops/times are optimal. However, there seems to be a discrepancy in the buy times (not buy speed, but hour that the item was purchased). After comparing the buy log in Abrosia and my Neotracker account (and taking into consideration that my time zone is EST rather than PST/NST), I found that they do not match up. Could someone please tell me what timezone the Neotracker follows?

Thanks very much :)

How far off your local time are the buy times?

My Abrosia is in EST, so looking at a recent purchase, the Neotracker is 3 hours ahead of Abrosia. The minutes and seconds are also totally different.

This isn't a huge issue, it just makes the avg weekly buy data a bit wonky when I autobuy a few hours before midnight (buys are logged as the following day).

Our server is located in Virginia, so that may be why it's displaying in EST? :S Laser, do you remember how you are doing the display time for this in Flex? :p

I thought we had it set up to display the user's local time but perhaps not. :p I think pyro set it up to return the times based on a user's forum timezone selection, the flex part just displays the time it's given from there.

Thank you for your responses! From what I understand, you're saying that Neocodex timezone -> forum account timezone? Upon registration I selected EST, which is the same as my Abrosia's and my computer's time.

Well, the way I think we set it up is something like this, we take your buy times from Abrosia and convert that time to the server time before storing it in the database. The data is then loaded for display in the Neotracker and we get the user's forum timezone from the database and alter the time of the data to match that timezone. If the times in the Neotracker aren't right then it sounds to me like something is going slightly wrong with the backend part rather than the Neotracker itself which just displays the time it is given.

I'd be interested to hear if anybody else has the same issue.
