I don't even have a facebook account and don't plan to. I feel like everyone I need to keep in touch with I do so via skype/email or I interact wtih them in person frequently enough.

i went through and deleted all my posts, pictures and friends one by one and then requested to have my account permanently deleted. i didn't use it for much except saying weird thoughts more publicly. then my whole family started thinking i was constantly on drugs, and half my family thought i was dying because i was tagged in a picture from a show i went to on new year's that i was bleeding in.

FB is good to keep in contact with some of the family I happen to like. All of its data sharing/hoarding and stupid redesisgns and absolute garbage games keep me from actually participating outside of the occasional comment.

I honestly only use it to stay in contact with family and to keep track of social events around my school.  I try not to post too much on it, and nothing too extreme if I do,  because the personal and public nature of the website kind of skeeves me out.  It also tends to start more fights than it should, and honestly I just try to keep my nose out of it.
