It lets you play at your own pace and its actually pretty relaxing :3 It doesn't force you to pay off your mortgage straight away, complete the museum parts right away, you don't have to worry about getting a game over from somehow messing up, nothing like that~ The only sorta timed things that come to mind are giving other villagers letters within a certain amount of time and them coming over to your house, but if you forget about that nothing really bad happens. Plus, the atmosphere is really nice, the graphics are cute and look nice, and the music is really nice~ Everything about it is just really... nice and fun <3

It's a lot slower than the Sims. It's probably the most casual game out there because, unlike basically every other game I know off, time passes in real time. I think that's why a lot of people like it, but if you don't like the idea of a slow game and a non-linear, even nonexistent storyline, this is not the game for you.
